Starflowers – Healing Harp Music with Crickets (963 Hz)
Sometimes the things we leave undone allow room for the serendipity of living things. Too overwhelmed with other tasks this year, I let my backyard go over the summer, and I had been feeling especially bad about vines that had grown throughout the grass. But now those same vines have bloomed, creating a quilt of white, starry flowers that’s been perfect for the late summer crickets to nestle down in and sing. So recently I woke up in the middle of the night to set out my recorder, and soon found myself playing a lullaby to accompany them. (More on solfeggio tuning: Recorded at 963 Hz, the frequencies here are genuine; I don't use technology to artificially change my pitch, so you receive the authentic resonance of the harp.)
