Let's get comfy,
Maybe snuggled under a blanket or sitting cross-crossed like you're at a cozy winter story time.
Today we're going to do something soft and warm called warm coco breathing.
Imagine you're holding a warm little mug of coco in your hands.
It's just the right temperature,
All steamy and it smells so good.
Feel the warmth in your fingers,
Like the mug is giving your hands a tiny little hug.
Are you ready?
Bring your pretend coco up to your face and take a slow,
Gentle breath in,
Like you're smelling the yummy,
Chocolatey steam.
Inhale slowly.
Mmm,
Smell the warmth,
Smell the sweetness.
Now breathe out softly,
Like you're blowing on the top to cool it down.
Very gently,
A tiny gentle blow,
Just enough to make the steam dance.
Let's do that again.
Inhale,
Smelling the coco.
Exhale,
Cooling it down.
Keep going,
Just like that.
Smell the coco and cool it down.
Every breath in makes you feel warm and calm inside.
Every breath out helps your body relax a little bit more.
Your shoulders soften,
Your face relaxes,
Your whole body feels cozy,
Like you're wrapped in your favorite blanket.
Now imagine taking the tiniest sip of your warm coco,
Just a little one.
It feels sweet and soft.
Let your breath be slow,
Let your body be still.
Let your heart feel warm,
Just like your cozy mug.
And when you're ready,
Give your pretend coco a little hug and gently open your eyes.
You did such a beautiful job today.
