An original poem by Heidi Fischer. This writing speaks to the precarious nature of life, particularly life with a mental illness. I share some of the lessons I learned in the hardest of my moments, and I express wonder at how there are these pivotal experiences that push us forward. I'm thankful for all the times I said: "one more time". The poem opens/closes with chimes and light music plays in the background. Music by John Kensy Music: "Mindfulness Relaxation & Meditation".

I thought,

I cannot do this any longer.

This speck of dust,

Moment in time,

Stretched into canyons of forever.

This,

This is unsurmountable,

The darkest night.

My lesson was to learn,

No two seconds are alike.

I thought,

I do not matter.

This broken vessel,

Floating in dust,

Wandered into tides of nothing.

This,

This the only thing within my sight.

Yet it was here I was taught,

Hope is despair denied.

It's the feeblest of things that help us survive.

Tiptoeing daringly,

Waiting to strike.

The curious flash that's rarely defined.

The juncture we hazard,

One more time.

Do you have any talks on tiredness? That's something I really experience and I struggle the most with this and feeling into and allowing myself to rest. Would love talk(s) on that ♥️
