Muladhara Chakra (7:28) In this guided muladhara chakra practice, take an interactive journey through the seven chakras while listening to music created specifically for each chakra. The first half of each of the seven meditations includes Michael’s sound healing to redirect and shift brain waves, while Megan’s soothing voice guides you through visualizations on the attributes and functions of the chakra; You are also asked questions to gain personal insight into the current stream of awareness of the energy center. Then delve deeper into meditation in whatever way the chakra presents itself to you while continuing to listen to the corresponding vibrational sounds. Meditation is the most creative, authentic way to introduce oneself to, explore, and expand the seven energy centers. We'll begin at the Muladhara chakra.

Muladhara meaning root.

Its location is the base of the spine.

Image or experience the base of the spine,

Or you may choose to place your hands at the base of the spine.

The Muladhara conducts our self-preservation.

It's responsible for our physical identity.

Its demon is fear.

The color is red.

Related to our sense of smell and the element of earth.

It governs the adrenal glands and the organs of elimination,

Including the kidneys,

The skin,

The colon,

And our entire physical body.

Its function is survival,

Basic communications and basic needs.

It's our primal and tribal instincts,

And where we get things in order.

The seed sound for the Muladhara chakra is LAM.

You can imagine the sound of thunder.

It is the energy of grounding,

And you may image the earth.

Answer these questions honestly and openly.

How often do I make contact with and enjoy nature?

How do I rate my physical health?

Do I love my body?

Do I feel I have a right to be here?

What am I afraid of?

Keeping your awareness at the base of the spine,

You can continue to think of or experience any of your connections to the Muladhara chakra that were mentioned.

Or you may invite yourself to repeat a mantra of your choosing.

You may use one of the following mantras.
