Jarka Shafiq is a holistic wellness guide with over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. Beginning her own weight loss journey at the age of 14, she overcame years of dieting, disordered eating, and self-rejection—experiences that deeply inform her compassionate, whole-person approach. As a seasoned personal trainer and a dedicated student of psychosomatics, Jarka combines practical expertise with emotional insight to explore the true root causes of weight struggles. Her work focuses not just on physical transformation, but on healing the underlying patterns that affect the body, mind, and nervous system. Nice little course. I learned new helpful info. I enjoyed hoe each day was structure; a breath, info, affirmations a question to encourage deeper thought and a time to journal. I did at times turn off the music at the end as I like silence when I journal… but that is just my preference. 🙏🏻

A transformational course giving a simple but highly effective shift in mind set from critical to loving. Knowing I am not on a diet but choosing healthy foods for my body is liberating from the grind of counting calories and critical self appraisal. I don’t count calories now I just choose foods mindful of the goodness and yes of course I indulge myself, ( and why not?), with an occasional take away or pizza but eaten within a regular food consumption of healthy choices. Exercise has always been a chore. I will now approach my spin class not with dread but with the knowledge I am living my self now and in the future protecting my health, heart, bones and every other part. The mind shift for me is incredible. For the first time in years , Today, July 31st I am not on a diet. And it feels great. Thank you. I highly recommend this course if you want to loose weight, exercise to be healthy and stop the diet mentality which as we all know doesn’t actually work.
