The Good Deeds Game: Fun Mindfulness Challenges That Make A Real Difference

With Mario Georgiou

The Good Deeds Game is a five-day experiment in small, real-world action. Each day you'll be invited to complete a simple challenge designed to bring a little more care, attention, and kindness into the world around you. From picking up litter to offering a genuine compliment to a stranger, the challenges draw on everything from everyday instinct to the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi — the idea that broken or forgotten things are still worth caring for. They're easy to do, but often have surprisingly far-reaching effects. This course isn't about becoming a different person. It's an opportunity to step outside your usual routine and notice what happens when you act with a little more intention. Over five days you'll complete one challenge each day, discover how small actions can ripple outward in ways you might not expect, and develop a sharper eye for the opportunities for kindness that are hiding in plain sight. No previous mindfulness experience is required. Just bring a little curiosity and a willingness to take part in the experiment. I look forward to seeing you in the course!

Say It Out Loud

The Art Of Restoration

Today's challenge is an unusual one, and possibly the most rewarding of the course. As you move through your day, you'll be looking for something that's been forgotten, and give it your care. You'll know it when you see it.

Lesson 4

Nature Calls

Today's challenge is a quiet one. You'll be doing something small for the natural world, for something living that won't know it was you, and won't be able to thank you for it. That's kind of the point.

Lesson 5

It's Your Turn

This is the final day of the course, and today there are no instructions. You've spent four days noticing, acting, and paying attention in ways you might not have before. Today, that's enough. Trust what you've gathered this week, and when the moment comes, you'll know what to do.
