This course offers a different way to understand and work with pain—especially when it shows up alongside stress and anxiety. Instead of focusing only on what might be structurally wrong, it explores how your nervous system interprets and organizes sensation, and how that process can change over time. I work in brain and spine surgery, where we monitor nerve signals in real time. One of the most important things you learn is that the body responds to signal, not pressure. I’ve also had to work through this personally after an injury, where what I felt didn’t match what was actually happening structurally. That experience reshapes how you understand pain. Across these tracks, you’ll explore why stress and anxiety often present as physical discomfort, how pain and safety are connected, and how small, consistent inputs can begin to shift that experience. There’s also a guided visualization designed to help you relate to sensation differently—not by forcing change, but by giving your system new information to work with. You don’t need to get anything perfect here. You don’t need to make pain go away. You’re learning how to work with your system more effectively and reliably.
