People on this planet currently spend an average of about 2,5 hours a day on social media. This easiliy constitutes an attention-sucking mental 'pandemic', and many of us are addicted. This course will give practical tips on how to manage the addictive behavior from day 1, using insights from sources that work, in this case: neuroscience, NVC (Nonviolent Communication), tantra and mindfulness. We'll be both brief and deep, as we shed the light of understanding--'cognitive' as well as 'empathic' understanding--on our motivations, drives, mental habits, influences, feelings & needs, and behavioral patterns. This way, we can move the needle permanently towards presence, choice and empowerment in our lives, and away from socia lemdia addiction. We will use several processess from the framework of Nonviolent / Mindful Communication, operationalize insights I gleaned from the likes of Andrew Holocek's insightful book 'Reverse Meditation', and utilize scientific insights from the likes of neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman and Dr. Cal Newport. image credit: Getty intro audio: 'Olive Spring', by Impers
