By focusing on your five senses, your breath, and what is happening in the body right now, you can begin to ground yourself, settle the nervous system, and take some of the power away from anxious, depressive, and overwhelming thoughts. This course will cover what Present State Awareness is, why it works, and how to use it both in moments of immediate distress and as an ongoing mindfulness practice. You will also get guided meditations to experiment with.
