Co-Parenting Without Losing Yourself

With Stacey Bennington | Psychotherapist & Coach

Co-parenting is one of the most emotionally complex relationships you will ever navigate. You are no longer partners, but you are permanently connected through the people you love most. Old attachment wounds get activated constantly. Boundaries feel impossible. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you are trying to protect your children from the very pain you are still processing yourself. In this course you will learn how your attachment style shapes your co-parenting dynamic, how to regulate yourself in the hardest moments, how to set boundaries that actually hold, and what it looks like to build a co-parenting relationship that genuinely puts your children first without losing yourself in the process.

She is also a Board-Certified Medical Support Hypnotherapist, a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and a Certified Integrative Attachment Theory Coach, with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She is certified in yoga nidra, a guided practice of deep rest and nervous system restoration. Stacey specializes in helping individuals understand how early attachment patterns and core wounds shape their relationships, communication, and emotional responses, and how to build more secure, connected ways of relating. Having walked her own path of healing a fearful avoidant attachment style, she brings both clinical depth and lived experience to her work. Her approach blends attachment theory, nervous system regulation, hypnotherapy, and subconscious reprogramming, meeting the mind in the deeply receptive states where lasting change takes root. Her meditations, sleep tracks, and mini courses are designed to help you feel seen in your patterns, understand where they began, and gently rewire those patterns at the root, so you can move through your relationships and your life with more security, calm, and confidence.

This lesson maps attachment patterns onto co-parenting dynamics so you can start to see your own patterns more clearly.

Co-parenting boundaries are some of the hardest boundaries to set and hold because they involve your children, your emotions, and a person you cannot simply walk away from. This lesson reframes what boundaries actually mean in a co-parenting context and gives you a practical framework for identifying and holding them.

Protecting Your Children Without Losing Yourself

Children need to be protected from adult conflict, but protection does not mean self-erasure. This lesson explores how to show up fully for your children through a co-parenting transition without abandoning your own healing in the process.

Lesson 5

Building A Co-Parenting Relationship That Actually Works

This final lesson explores what a genuinely workable co-parenting relationship looks like and how to move toward it regardless of where things are right now.
