The last lesson is a variety of tips and tools that you can use to change your chronic pain and your relationship to your pain.


Meet your Teacher

Audriana is a physical therapist and trauma informed yoga teacher with additional training in cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, pain reprocessing therapy and mindfulness. She is passionate about utilizing the training she has to work with individuals with chronic pain to help them feel empowered and safe in their bodies.

In lesson two of the course, you learn all about the nervous system's role in pain. You are introduced to exactly what the nervous system is and how nervous system sensitivity can impact chronic pain, especially neuroplastic pain.

What Impacts Chronic Pain

In lesson three of the course, you will get to explore the various things that can impact the chronic pain experience. You will learn about risk factors for pain, the biopsychosocial model, DIMS and SIMS, and other factors that impact chronic pain.

Tips to Change Your Chronic Pain

Lesson four dives into a variety of tips and tools that you can use to help change your pain and your relationship to your pain. Education around mindfulness practices, pain reprocessing therapy, behaviour change techniques, movement, and acceptance is all discussed in detail.
