Words: Asatoma sad gamaya tamaso ma jyotir gamaya mrityor ma amritam gamaya om shanti shanti shantih om shri gurubhyo namah hari om. Translation: Lead me from illusion to Truth. Lead me from darkness to Light. Lead me from death to Immortality. Om Peace, Peace, Peace. I bow to the divine Guru. This mantra is very powerful and is found in the oldest sacred scriptures of India. It does not ask for earthly goods but implores the Divinity to grant us the light of the Truth of Spiritual Consciousness, thus liberating us from darkness and the death of our spirit.
