Thank you for doing this meditation with me.

With this gentle and yet effective exercise we will find pleasure in menstruation and consolidate our feminine essence.

With this meditation you can also find a new way to connect with womanhood and open up the possibility of healing your own and inherited wounds and challenges related to all feminine parts of the mind and body.

Many times we carry in us shame,

Victimhood,

Pains and illnesses that are not ours but inherited from our ancestors.

By healing yourself you also repair the wounds of our past generations.

Find a comfortable position.

Let my words flow through your consciousness like a crystal clear mountain dew.

Listen to my words and imagine that they are your own words.

I close my eyes gently.

I inhale deeply and exhale with freedom.

I join my hands in front of my chest and take a deep breath and exhale with freedom.

I rub the palms of my hands together vigorously until my hands feel warm and my skin tingles.

I can almost see sparkles coming from them.

I say thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

I exhale as I tap the area under my collarbones with the tips of my fingers.

I say out loud or in my mind that I am grateful that I have the possibility to change the way my body reacts to my body's natural functions like menstruation.

I notice how my hands radiate life energy.

I place my right hand in the area of my uterus and my left hand on my heart center.

I thank my body for its wisdom.

I thank my womb and my heart,

My wise guides.

Now with the power of my mind I move to the past.

I go to the time that I received my first menstrual cycle.

If I think that I was too young,

In this meditation I can freely choose the age that I was when I got my first period.

I can be,

For example,

14 years old.

It's a Saturday morning and I just woke up in my comfortable bed.

It is soft,

Warm and I feel so safe and cozy in it.

There are some pretty sheets with little lilac and blue flowers.

I am all covered.

I stretch my legs and feel their warmth and softness.

Slowly I get out of bed with joy.

I feel how my own warmth forms a protective sphere around me.

My body wants to stretch and move.

I raise my arms and stretch them out.

I stretch my neck.

I make small circles with my head,

Shoulders and my hips.

My room is flooded with morning light and I am in the center of the room.

I notice how life goes through me with all its strength.

I feel alive here and now and I love this feeling.

The lower part of my belly feels warm and I feel a different kind of warmth and humidity between my legs.

I observe these sensations with curiosity and touch myself with my hand.

My fingers feel something wet and when I look at my fingers I see a red,

Bright,

Vital color.

My first menstruation has started.

It feels like this information changes everything.

I inhale deeply and exhale.

I can really feel the wisdom of my womb.

I feel how my uterus and my vagina and ovaries are relaxed and my entire pelvis area is relaxed and soft.

My buttocks relax,

My thighs relax,

My legs relax.

A brilliant golden light radiates from my womb even more strongly,

Filling the whole room with golden light.

I am extremely proud of my body and its wisdom.

I feel that I want to give this good news to everyone and at that moment the waves of my voice go through my house blessing it with joy and enthusiasm as I call my mother.

I hear my mother's footsteps as she approaches and I see her bright eyes as she opens the door to my room.

I tell her with joy that my first period has arrived.

My mother's expression fills with a tender,

Loving light.

My mother opens her arms and congratulates me wholeheartedly.

We hug.

I feel her nice scent and her hair.

I feel the warmth of her.

Against my chest I feel her heartbeat and support.

Thank you,

Mother.

My mother gives me a beautiful package of sanitary napkins.

I go to the bathroom,

I wash myself slowly.

I make it a ritual.

I look myself in the mirror.

I taste how it feels to be like a woman.

I feel confident and beautiful.

I look at myself,

My bright eyes,

My lips.

I notice how all my cells have entered a new phase in my life.

I caress myself.

I caress gently my face,

My head.

I softly massage my breasts,

My ribs,

My pelvis,

My waist and my belly.

I walk out of the bathroom and I feel like the whole world has changed.

The house is the same,

But the colors are more vivid and there seems to be more life in everything.

I see the green color of the plants much deeper than before.

The fruits,

The mangoes,

The pears and the apples in the fruit bowl on the table seem to be enjoying their ripeness and succulence.

I start this new day and this new stage of my life as a woman.

I let tears of joy slide down my cheeks.

I give thanks to life for this experience and I give life thanks for my first period.

Now I return to today,

To this moment.

I thank my heart and uterus once again for everything we have experienced together.

I feel perfectly relaxed and fully focused on the area of my uterus.

With each exhalation I feel my life energy blow up my spine to my head.

I recognize here my own strength.

Now I choose a memory related to my body,

Womanhood or period that wasn't so good.

It can be any memory where I have experienced shame or disgust or any negative emotions.

Now I let an image of that memory appear on the blue screen of my mind.

I freeze that image and view it as if it was a photograph.

I am aware that with the help of my imagination I can change the details of that image and memory.

Now I make the necessary changes to that memory.

I change the situation,

I can change the people,

I can change the words,

I can change the acts done in that past experience.

And now I can see myself in that situation happy,

Grateful and proud of my own strength and wisdom.

When I am done with the changes I can store this new memory in my womb.

Now I will repeat these following affirmations in my mind or out loud.

I enjoy the cycles of my body and I trust the wisdom of my womb.

I always bleed with gratitude.

Thank you my womb for everything that we have experienced together.

Thank you life for your strength and support.

Thank you mother,

Grandmother and all my ancestors.

Thank you mother earth.

I did this exercise for myself and all the women in the world.
