Today I'm going to talk about the habit that will make you prosperous.
Alright?
So I hope you enjoy it,
You learn something and ask as many questions as you want.
Alright?
Alright.
So,
Many of us have heard these phrases.
You get what you give.
Or only by giving are you able to get more than you already have.
By the way,
The latter quote is by Jim Rohn.
But there's a catch to make it work.
It's not only give to receive.
And when done correctly,
Your vibration raises and the expectation about having more resources grows.
When we give something,
There could potentially be two different things we offer.
And this dovetails with a previous teaching in which I talked about effortless manifestation,
Which requires congruence between thoughts,
Words and actions.
In other words,
Do what you say and say what you think.
So if you give to others and in doing so feel bad,
Poor,
Limited or just upset,
Then the other person will get what you shared.
But the universe,
Or more accurately,
The law of attraction will only receive those negative emotions.
Which means that regardless how much stuff you gave away,
You will only get back what you felt about that action.
Lack,
Bitterness,
Powerlessness,
You name it.
Give to others and to you,
Let me say that again,
And to you with joy,
Gratitude and love.
And then you can expect to receive plenty back.
The outcome of all energy work has to do with how you feel about it.
You can give time,
Love,
Stuff,
Advice,
It doesn't matter,
And you can feel the same way regardless of what it is.
Some people have lots of things,
But not too much free time,
So this is not only applicable to stuff.
And for any of you that are worried of running out of something,
Because if you think about it,
We do not give what we fear losing,
This could be the catalyst to turn things around.
If you don't have much time and yet manage to gladly give some away,
Don't be surprised if you get some time back.
Now there is one caveat,
Try not to put yourself in a difficult situation by following this advice to the letter.
You may want to pace yourself and not go on a giving all your stuff away spree,
Especially if you have mouths to feed.
Having a daily,
Weekly,
Or monthly budget might be a wise choice.
Don't give more than you can and accept you cannot help everyone,
Especially trust that everyone will receive help thanks to the love and generosity of God,
The universe,
Source Energy,
And that will be through the hands of others.
We are all part of this system and we are not alone in this.
I remember a friend in Mexico that was hesitant to give part of his earnings to his congregation,
And in the end he said,
Okay,
I'll do it.
Well,
On that same day he won a big cash prize.
I also remember living a similar experience.
I left an unusual cash offer to a church and a few days after I received a big discount on a plane ticket to visit my family.
And my reasoning for these rewards is that whenever you let go of all your attachments,
Your true desires are able to reach you.
So like I said,
Short and sweet.
There you go.
Not sure if you have any questions about it,
But I just want to emphasize what matters with energy work has to do with how we feel.
It doesn't matter what you do.
It really doesn't.
And some people have heard that if you want to have more resources,
More abundance coming into your life,
You need to spend or give away what you have.
And that makes sense,
But only if you feel good about doing that.
Because if you give reluctantly,
Then you're going to block all those blessings to arrive to your life.
It's that simple.
And I know it's not that easy to trust.
It doesn't make sense.
I mean,
If you are a logical person,
It doesn't make sense that if you give away more of what you want,
You're going to get more.
But it does work.
And I remember an anecdote when I was going to buy some donuts.
I usually buy a lot because if I have cravings,
Well,
I need to eat a lot.
So I went and bought like six perhaps.
And then on my way home,
I stumbled into a child that was asking for money.
Well,
I usually don't carry cash on me.
So I said,
Well,
I don't have money,
But would you like to have a donut?
And she said,
Yeah.
So I let her choose.
And she was happy.
I was happy.
And although I did not eat six,
I was completely fine.
And when you treat people with kindness,
You can tell that they appreciate it.
And of course,
Like I said before,
You don't need to give away all your stuff.
I emphasize that you need to treat yourself kindly because let's say if you decide to pamper yourself,
But when you see the price tag,
You regret it,
You already ruined the experience.
I mean,
At least energetically speaking.
So just be careful not to overdo yourself.
But do give yourself some,
I don't know,
Treats if you want to call them like that.
Maybe I have a,
Well,
It's not mine,
But I call it the daily gift technique.
And if you exercise this technique,
You can develop an expectation to get more and more things and surprises.
This doesn't necessarily mean that you need to spend money.
But if you say,
For example,
Today,
What am I going to give to reward me with?
It could be half an hour to do whatever you want.
It could be to buy a book or to visit someone that you love or maybe treat yourself with dessert or whatever.
And if you keep doing that,
You are going to also counteract any part of you that might feel unworthy of receiving whatever you want to get.
So I would really recommend this whenever,
And that's why it's important to be mindful because some of these gifts are going to maybe pass like something not that relevant.
But if you are consciously saying,
Okay,
This is for me,
For example,
We're going to meditate later and I usually incorporate these words when we're meditating.
I say something like,
This is a gift for you that you're giving yourself this time to feel good,
This time to connect with source energy,
With God,
With the universe.
And that's why being mindful is really important.
And when you do that,
You are helping to change your subconscious to get rid of those limiting beliefs and realizing that,
Yeah,
I deserve to be happy.
I deserve to have love,
To have abundance,
Et cetera.
So other people are also worthy.
And that's when you start changing your paradigm and seeing other people as important as you are because we were all created in the same way and we have the same origin and we're going to go to the same place when we exit this planet,
Right?
So that's the teaching for today.
I'm sure if you have any questions.
I downsized almost a year ago and I have a lot of boxes with personal things in ornaments,
Clothes and some house things.
I love these things I no longer have a place for.
I know I should give the things away,
But it makes me feel sad.
I gave a lady a picture and after I felt I shouldn't as I loved it.
I had it for many years.
Any advice to help me let go?
Yes.
Definitely.
Well,
First of all,
Angie,
Thank you for sharing your anecdote and how you feel.
And well,
I would say if you don't feel like giving something away,
Don't because it's not mandatory.
Although some of those things might help other people,
I always try to encourage everyone to do whatever they can to feel good.
So if this is going to be a matter of lowering your vibration,
Then please don't.
And like I said before,
Trust that other people will be taken care of by God,
The universe or synergy,
However you call this energy or deity.
Now what would I do?
I have trouble with something like that,
Letting go stuff.
And what I usually do is say,
Okay,
I haven't been using,
I don't know,
That thing.
Maybe I haven't read a book or maybe I haven't used that shirt or whatever it is.
And I know it has an emotional attachment,
Feeling maybe towards someone that gave it to me.
Or maybe I wore that shirt when I met the love of my life or whatever.
But those are just things.
And the meaning they have is because you gave it to them.
Right?
So if we're talking about clothing,
You can buy,
Of course,
Newer clothing that you're going to like even better.
When my dad passed away,
Well,
We were asked to choose among his clothing and other stuff.
And there were some shirts that I used,
But at some point I was like,
You know what?
I mean,
I don't even like them that much.
I mean,
I understand that those came from my dad.
So they have a special value.
But my dad was not defined by the clothing he wore.
He was defined by the person he was.
And he also left a big legacy,
Which was not shoes or rings or shirts.
His legacy was his children,
My brothers and I.
So I have learned not to attach to things.
There are some that I kind of feel attached to,
But all of them are replaceable because they are just stuff.
Now is there something that you really,
Really love?
Take a picture of it.
Maybe ask someone to take a picture of you holding that thing.
And then you have a memory or you can record yourself,
You know,
Like in a video.
And that's it.
Because if you don't have room for them,
If they're going to be just locked in a box,
What's the point?
Unless you decide that later on you're going to move to a bigger place.
But if you don't,
Well,
Maybe it's not that useful to have them locked,
Right?
Now like I said,
If you want to keep them,
It's fine.
No problem.
And I guess as long as they are not in your way,
Like you need to,
I don't know,
Walk through your room because it's like a maze of boxes and it will not be practical,
Right?
But at the end of the day,
The person that gave them to you,
I'm sure is not going to resent you if you give them away,
Right?
So that's what I would do.
Just do it when you feel ready if you get to that point.
Just remember that on the day that God says,
I miss you,
I want you by my side,
You're going to leave all that stuff behind anyways,
Right?
But stuff is just stuff.
It's more important for you to have good moments with people that you love,
Good stories to tell,
I don't know,
Your children or your grandchildren or someone that you meet.
So that's the way I see it.
I hope my answer helped you.
