When it comes to manifesting, one of the questions I get the most is: When should I take action? I just had an “epiphany” that answers that question without a shadow of a doubt. Are you ready to stop second-guessing yourself? Script, voice, and thumbnail: Maporoco Music: Piano Music No.14 by Piotr Witowski

Hi.

As you may know,

Some of our wishes will manifest without the need of our help.

I just love to sit and relax after placing my request to the universe,

And it's so interesting to see how everything unravels,

How the dream becomes something tangible or part of my experience.

However,

There are other times when action is required to make it happen.

So how to tell which one is it?

Is it possible to wait on the bench,

So to speak,

While the time comes,

And not miss the cue?

What if that action sabotages or delays the dream?

These and many other questions will be answered today.

I will give you the magic recipe to figure it out.

I'm sharing a very useful analogy you can use to assess if the action you're about to take is in alignment with your wish or not.

This tool comes from performing a very specific action that I assume you already guessed by covering three different scenarios.

This takes me back to my childhood when my friends and I told each other jokes using a three-act format,

And the point was guessing the punchline by the time the third act ended.

I'm not gonna make a joke,

But I do love this template to present the same action in three different scenarios.

First act.

When I was a child,

My father used to say,

Eat your broccoli.

I honestly didn't want to because,

Well,

It's broccoli,

Do I need to say more?

Nevertheless,

I ate it.

My motivation was very simple.

I didn't want to face the consequences.

I do have limits though,

If it were liver,

I may secretly toss it away behind the fridge like I shared in one of my courses.

Second act.

As a teenager,

My mom used to say,

Eat your broccoli,

It's healthy,

You will live longer,

Prevent serious illnesses,

Etc.

I was still not excited about it,

But I did it because she made it.

I didn't want to worry her about my health,

Or simply because I was tired of the same lecture.

Third act.

As an adult,

Nobody's telling me what to eat,

I just eat broccoli because I want to.

The health benefits,

Whether it would bind with anti-nutrients to keep my kidneys healthy,

Or if I will prevent a serious disease,

Are not the main reasons.

I just like it with melted cheese,

And since I buy it frozen,

It's very convenient because I try to cook in the easiest way possible.

That's just me.

Oh,

So the deeper meaning is that I matured as a person while becoming an adult?

I don't know,

I'm not a Greek philosopher like Aristotle.

Let's just think about the motivation of each one,

The actual feeling that triggers the action.

I cannot stress enough that the action is always the same,

But what makes the difference are the reasons why it is done.

We receive impulses or motivations to act due to different circumstances.

If you get an idea or feeling to do something,

It is always good to assess your previous thoughts and,

Most importantly,

Emotions.

I'm pretty sure that if someone is rude to me,

The impulses or ideas I'll get won't put me in a high vibration.

I am not a saint,

I'm a regular guy,

And like Dale Carnegie said,

If you want to gather honey,

Don't kick over the beehive.

When you ask for something and are in doubt of what to do,

In other words,

You are wondering what should be your next move,

Take a moment to understand if that impulse is due to fear of missing out or because that is what you should do.

After all,

That's how things work in life,

Right?

Maybe your friends made it that way.

This may be the last chance,

So act now or cry later.

When it comes to energy work,

None of those reasons are good.

Never act out of fear,

Despair,

Or even boredom.

Only act when you really want to,

When it feels right,

When it's not just a chore or requisite,

When impatience or pressure bring you down.

Our actions mean nothing in comparison to the actual work that takes place behind the scenes where the real magic happens.

Where the universe,

Your spiritual guides,

Source energy,

God,

Work with all the pieces and variables,

Including you,

And create the masterpiece that will exceed your expectations.

We cannot mess up that work.

We don't have that kind of power.

The wheels of your wishes are in motion.

This is an attraction game,

Not a pursuit.

I explain a little bit more about that in my course We Are Creators,

Not Chasers.

So if you're going to act,

Don't let any fear question if the time is right or if you will ruin your wish.

Simply follow the impulses that come from good feelings and know that the manifestation will occur at the right time and in the best possible way.

In my previous teaching,

I shared a couple of anecdotes of this principle.

It is titled,

My Advice Before Taking Action.

I talk about how I was inspired to act at the right time and,

Honestly,

Blown away by how the universe shows off.

The thumbnail is a cute squirrel I photograph in Belfast.

So if you want more teachings like this one,

That one comes to mind as a good recommendation.

And if you follow me,

You will be notified when I have something new for you.

So now you know.

Every time you feel the need to act,

Ask yourself,

Do I really want to eat this broccoli?

Or maybe I just think I need to?

Take care.

Receive many blessings.
