Survival Responses: Flight Response [Copied]
With Lynn Fraser
Are you carrying a tension you can't quite explain -- a low hum of anxiety, a habit of zoning out, or
a feeling that life is happening just slightly out of reach? In this class, we'll look at one of the
nervous system's most common survival strategies: flight. Together, we'll explore how the urge to
escape -- whether physically, emotionally, or through the busy landscape of our own minds --
developed to protect us, and how we can gently begin to come back. Drawing on 25 years of
meditation teaching and somatic mindfulness practice, this session offers simple, grounded tools
to help you return to the present moment, build real resilience, and engage more fully in your life.
