What if your biggest breakthroughs are hidden in the exact places?
You're afraid to look at.
So along your own personal journey of spirituality,
Personal development of self-inquiry,
You may have heard of the term,
The shadow.
In this video,
I want to share with you what is the shadow.
And I'm going to share with you one journal prompt today that's going to get you started.
So the key with shadow work is awareness.
It's becoming aware of your emotional reactions in life as you move through life.
Noticing what is evoking an intense usually emotional reaction or noticing what is annoying you in other people.
This awareness will help you know that this is time to take a look at our shadow self.
What is the shadow?
The shadow is the parts of ourself we don't want anybody to know about.
There's possibly a sense of shame around them.
We want to keep our shadow behind closed doors.
We don't want to talk about it.
And often some of the reasons we do.
Are feeling this emotional reaction.
Can stem from past experiences,
Past events.
Traumas,
And even childhood.
So grab your journal.
And write this one journal prompt down.
It's going to get you started.
What is one?
Childhood pattern that has followed me today.
That is still affecting my life today.
What is one childhood pattern?
That is following me today.
And is holding me back.
So work with this journal prompt this week.
And write without editing yourself.
See what comes up for you.
And this is a beautiful,
Simple way,
But powerful way for you to dive in to your shadow self.
