It was really interesting to see the modifications you did to Ashtanga first series, mainly standing. I misssed two or three seated asanas that could have been beneficial after standing. But I enjoyed the whole session. Also missed a bit of context (but I understand this was not the time for this) but I mainly missed Ujayi breathing. It seems impossible to me to practice ashtanga without learning how to breathe right. And there is no shavasana in ashtanga, we just call it "rest" as it is not considered an asana 😉 But I am sooo happy you did this nice lesson to introduce this demanding but amazing practice ! Thanks dear Leah ! ❤️

How happy I was to start the day with these movements. The beginning was almost exactly like "The 15 movements of the spine" as teached by my master John Scott. Really enjoyed what you added afterwards. I feel happy and sharp to start the day now. Thank you 🌼 !

I have been practicing Ashtanga yoga for more than 6 years now. I got injured while pulling a luggage in the medina of Fes, Marocco 🙄. Now I have a deep chest pain and I am working on it, adjusting my practice. I really love your gentle approach of asanas, it helps a lot, even if I still practice my sweet sun salutations in the morning 😁. Thank you Leah ! 🥰

Deep but soft and gentle, as always. I love the counter poses so much in general, thank you Leah ❤️

This was nice flow and challenging enough for me to think about my breath and the alarm bells my body is trying to connect to my brain. It helped me feel like I’m hopping back on the train to take care of my body after caving in on eating unhealthy food this last weekend. Being surrounded by food and people who don’t necessarily take great care of their bodies when I am trying to lose weight is tough. This was one of my best friends 30th birthdays so it wasn’t really an option to avoid the party.
