Take a moment to make yourself comfortable.
Whether you're in a seated position,
Laying down on a yoga mat or in your bed,
Find a place where you feel like you can relax and deeply let go.
Adjust any of the props or support beneath you,
Whether that's a pillow or a blanket.
Take a moment to see if you feel comfortable.
Attune to your body and make any small changes that you need to,
And then begin to settle in.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale out of your mouth,
Fully letting your breath go.
Again,
Inhale,
Slowly sipping your breath in.
And exhale,
Release your breath.
Take a moment to tune in to the support beneath you.
Breathe in and exhale,
Settle into that support.
Take a deep breath in,
Feel your ribcage expand.
And sigh,
Exhale,
And let it go.
Feel the way your breath moves in and out of your body.
Breathe in,
Tuning in to the expansion of your body.
And exhale,
Feel yourself settle into the support below.
Allow the muscles of your face to soften and relax.
Relax your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your cheeks.
Unclench your jaw and allow your teeth to part.
Breathe in.
And exhale,
Sigh out of your mouth.
Settle into your body.
Breathe in and exhale.
Release your shoulders down toward the ground as you relax through your arms.
Breathe deeply in and out of your body.
If you find that your mind feels restless,
Or if you're feeling any resistance to relaxation.
With thoughts traveling to ruminations of the past or worries of the future.
Take a deep breath.
Exhale.
I encourage you to draw your attention to the present moment by tuning into your senses.
First,
You might shift your attention to your sense of hearing.
Noticing all the sounds around you.
Notice the sounds in the room you're in,
The space you're in.
And then shift your attention to the noises outside of the space you're in.
Notice the world moving around you as you rest in stillness.
Breathe in through your nose,
Feel your ribcage expand.
Exhale,
Soften your entire body.
Slowly shift your attention to the feeling of your body.
Notice the temperature of the space you are in.
The feeling of your clothing against your skin.
The support of the surface beneath you.
Breathe deeply as you sink more fully into that support.
Begin to shift your attention to your sense of smell.
Noticing any scent in the air around you.
Breathe deeply in.
And out.
Let your breath flow in and out of your body.
What would it feel like to acknowledge how hard you have been trying?
How much you have been giving.
What would it feel like to recognize that you are human for not being able to do it all,
All the time?
Knowing that you deserve a break.
A moment of peace for your body,
Your mind,
And your soul.
Breathe in.
On exhale,
Release any tension that you might be holding from your body energetically down into the surface below.
Again,
Breathe in a cleansing breath.
And exhale,
Let go of anything that's no longer serving you.
What would it feel like to extend kindness toward yourself?
To extend the energy and care you so often give to others?
Breathe in,
Repeating to yourself in your mind,
I am.
Exhale,
Enough.
Inhale,
I deserve.
Exhale peace in my life.
Inhale,
I am worthy.
Exhale of my own acceptance.
Breathe in.
And exhale,
Feel your energy settle into the back of your body.
Soften into this support.
Breathing deeply.
Staying here as long as you'd like.
Come back slowly whenever you are ready.
Gently waking up the body through small movements of your fingers and toes.
Coming back to the space you're in.
May the rest of your day,
Your evening,
Your week,
Be rooted in a calm and peaceful place.
Knowing from the core of your being that you are enough.
Knowing that you deserve peace and you deserve happiness in your life.
The love that you extend to others,
You deserve to feel back in your own heart.
Thank you so much for tuning in today.
I bow deeply to you,
Honoring you for showing up.
It really is no small feat to be with yourself,
To be with your body and breath in this way.
And I honor you for that.
Be well.
