Lanise Shelley is a Haitian adoptee, yoga instructor, adoptee advocate and somatic guide whose work braids together Neurosomatics, breath, and ancestral memory. With trauma-informed training and an MFA from Harvard University, she helps others soften long-held defenses, find safety in their own bodies, and reclaim a sense of belonging. Her teachings invite students to release inherited wounds, breathe into their courage, regulate their nervous system with ease, and trust their intuition. Her work integrates somatic regulation, breathwork, trauma-sensitive movement, and psycho-emotional grounding practices. She specializes in helping individuals address social anxiety, attachment wounds, self-validation, and identity-related trauma through body-based healing methods.
