This is a meditation that's based on the laws of Ma'at.

Ma'at was an Egyptian deity,

A goddess figure who was associated with truth,

Harmony,

And balance.

There are 42 laws,

Or 42 ideals,

That are attributed to her.

And some say they were the initial inspiration for the Bible's Ten Commandments.

You may notice that these laws go beyond saying what is right or wrong,

But go further and describe the traits of a balanced,

Humble,

And thoughtful person.

When you meditate on these ideals,

They can sink into your subconscious and create the basis for how you interact with others and how you choose your actions and reactions for the day.

The following is my own paraphrasing of the laws.
