Hello beautiful soul,
And thank you for joining me.
This meditation is meant to help you find the calm within,
And recenter yourself when you're feeling troubled,
Anxious,
Overwhelmed,
Or simply exhausted.
Through this guided meditation,
You'll allow yourself to find rest and release,
And come home to yourself again and again.
Meditation is a practice of noticing and returning home.
It is a way to center your senses into the present moment.
When strong feelings arise in our life,
They are often associated with a stuck perception from the past,
Or expectation for the future.
But when we could rest in the present moment,
And just allow the mind,
The body,
And the breath to work in unison,
We gently remind ourselves that this moment is a very moment that matters,
And that we have the power within us to release and move through whatever we're dealing with,
With strength and grace.
So find yourself a comfortable position,
One that allows you to feel supported and at ease.
I invite you to close your eyes,
Or soften your gaze,
As we begin to tune inward.
Let's take a deep breath together,
Inhaling through the nose,
And letting it out through the mouth.
Again in through the nose,
And releasing with a sigh.
Allow your breath to fall into a steady rhythm,
Continuing to feel and notice the gentle rise and falls of your inhales and exhales.
We'll allow the body to find its release by noticing any areas of tension or tightness.
Try to prevent yourself from judging,
But just give grace and permission to these places in your body to find ease,
To find rest.
Gently sending your breath to these areas,
And cleansing out any stagnant energy.
As you release,
Try to find a softness and a little bit more space.
Continue to breathe into your body a few more times,
Drawing in the energy of gratitude and thanking your body for its strength,
Letting it know that it can now relax.
Now begin to notice your chest and your heart space,
Feeling the gentle beats of your powerful and loving center.
You're welcome to bring a hand over your heart,
And feel the pulse in your palm,
Allowing your heartbeat and your breath to harmonize in the same tune,
Softly quieting the mind,
Releasing any thoughts that arise so you could listen to the wisdom of your heart.
What has it been carrying lately?
Feel,
Breathe,
Allow.
Your heart's message may come to you as words,
Visuals,
Or feelings.
Simply notice and allow your heart this space to connect with you.
When you feel you have received the current message weighing on your heart,
You now have an opportunity to ask it what it also needs to feel supported.
What do you need in this moment?
And what could you allow into your heart today?
The heart is meant for connectivity,
And we are at our best when we're not just serving ourselves,
But connecting to other beings in service of one another.
As the energy in your heart builds,
Maybe you could allow some to reach out towards someone in need today,
Sharing love,
Strength,
And ease.
If you feel compelled to go just a little deeper,
I invite you to consider someone in your life who is challenging or difficult,
And allow yourself to send them kind thoughts and well wishes,
Simply to release any lingering resentment or pain from your heart space.
Let's now take time to honor your heart,
Its aliveness,
Its wisdom,
And its courage.
Take time to acknowledge yourself as well,
For allowing you this time and space.
Perhaps you could call to mind some kind and powerful words towards yourself.
Whatever comes to mind,
And just allow it to sink in and spread throughout your body with each breath.
Remember,
You have the power within you always to call upon.
Remember,
You have this power within you that you could call upon whenever you're in times of need,
Whenever you need strength,
Love,
Connection,
Peace.
You're welcome to stay here as long as you need.
When you're ready,
Begin to notice the outline of your body,
Wherever your body is being held,
And begin to find gentle movements,
First starting in your fingers,
Your toes,
And allowing those waves of energy and movement to roll up through your limbs and into your center.
Gently coming out of your meditation,
And noticing the space around you,
Acknowledging whatever arose for you today,
And just knowing that the power of your heart is in the ability to transform any energy.
So thank yourself for this power,
And for giving yourself this time to release and re-center.
