Life review meditation.

Begin by taking a few deep breaths.

And with every breath,

Imagine and feel or envision that you are floating above your body.

With every breath,

Imagine,

Feel or experience that you are rising higher and higher,

Becoming weightless,

Drifting and lifting high above the physical confines of your human body.

And as you rise higher and higher,

Turn around and look back upon your body and see it sitting there with eyes closed meditating as you are drifting up and away,

Above and through the ceiling.

With every breath drifting higher and higher into the sky above the clouds,

Becoming weightless,

Lighter and lighter as you lift higher,

Drifting,

Lifting.

And notice and sense and feel the confines of your body temple beginning to tingle and beginning to disintegrate.

You're becoming so light now that you can no longer see where you end and the rest of life begins.

They are a continuum.

Just breathe in this sensation of being at one with the one,

At one with all there is,

At one with all the love,

All the beauty,

All the well-being of this universe.

And as you breathe,

Continue to drift into this love further and further,

Higher and higher,

Envision this beauty,

This love,

This heavenly essence.

And as you continue to drift here beyond the veil of this world,

Of the world of the third dimension and into the realm of the multi-dimensionality of your soul,

Begin to find your way toward what we call the life review theater.

And with joyous anticipation,

Find yourself nestling into a comfortable cozy place to rest and envision now on the screen of your mind,

The movie of your life beginning to play for you.

Take a deep breath and first notice the screen begins in darkness,

The unformed substance of your soul and begin to see a little pin prick of light in the center of the screen and watch as that pin prick of light becomes brighter and bigger until it fills up the screen so bright that you have to squint to see because this is the light of who you are coming into form.

And now begin to see images that reflect the moment of your birth in this most recent life experience.

Begin to get a glimpse,

A vision,

A sense,

An impression of the people who were in the room or in the space with you at the time of your birth.

Your mother,

Of course,

Perhaps your father,

Relatives,

Friends,

Doctors,

Nurses,

Whoever might have been around and notice the anticipation,

The joy,

The expectation,

All of this energy waiting to greet you.

And if you know that there wasn't exactly a joyous experience waiting to greet you,

Then I'm going to ask you to use your imagic nation to envision that the highest reality,

The most awake version of the people that would have been there,

Especially your mother,

Is indeed present now.

So envision the most awake,

Alert,

Alive,

Aware version of the people that were there to greet you at your birth being present now.

So feel that you're making your entrance into this life with this next breath.

You are birthed.

You are here.

You are in form.

You are in 3D and notice and feel the love that surrounds you,

The joy,

The love.

And as if through a wonderful time lapse camera,

Begin to see the review of your life beginning from your first moments of consciousness and take your time to begin to review some of the people that you came to know as significant beings in your life,

Family,

Friends,

Loved ones,

Begin to get a sense of what it was like to be the little baby version of you held,

Adored,

Loved,

Cherished.

Begin to get a sense through this time lapse camera that you're becoming a toddler,

You're learning to walk,

You're learning to talk,

You're learning to explore this big,

Bright,

Beautiful world that you're living in.

Begin to recall any significant moments that may have happened during this time that would have begun the process of forming your identity,

Your sense of self.

Gently moving through the lens of this time lapse camera into becoming a toddler,

Even entering preschool if that's what you did,

Becoming socialized as you develop friendships,

You understand what a teacher is,

What authority figures are.

And as you move through these days and weeks and months and years of your life as this precious young being through the time lapse camera,

Begin to see yourself as a child entering into school,

Kindergarten,

First grade,

Second grade,

All the way up through fifth grade and elementary school.

And as you begin to enter middle school,

Becoming a teenager,

Begin gaining a sense that your identity is beginning to form now.

Your self-definition is in place at this point.

And in order to protect your sense of self,

Notice that you've developed some defense mechanisms.

Just begin to notice what they are.

Are you extremely quiet and shy?

Are you book smart?

Are you charismatic and charming?

Are you athletic?

Are you dominating?

Are you passive and carefree?

Do you have a sense of humor?

Do you make everyone laugh?

Are you rebellious?

Get a sense of what your defense mechanisms,

Protective mechanisms,

Sense of self-identity aspects are.

And gradually growing up through this time lapse camera and vision,

Yourself moving into high school years and get a sense of moments in time where you felt extremely lucid,

Extremely clear.

Moments of lucidity,

Moments of feeling completely connected to source,

To love,

To life.

And notice in those moments the way you behaved,

The way your energy expressed,

The way you were loving,

Kind,

Helpful,

Generous,

Altruistic,

Your true self.

And notice and review the moments in your life in these younger years when you forgot your connection with source,

When you forgot how perfect and precious and whole and complete you were.

When you felt small,

Maybe alone,

Different,

In need of protection,

Notice the way you behaved during those moments.

Perhaps you were critical.

Perhaps you were dishonest,

Hurtful,

Unkind.

Without judging yourself,

Just notice these moments when you are forgetting the truth of yourself.

And I'm going to ask you to pick a particular moment.

Let's just say a moment that you are not proud of.

A moment where you allowed your lower self,

Your forgetful self to run the show.

Choose a specific incident.

And with compassion for yourself,

Recognize that the reason you behaved this way was because you forgot who you were.

And because this is the Life Review Theater and Dream Theater is allowed,

You can reenact this moment,

Redirect it as if anew from the perspective of remembering who you are.

Being forgiving,

So connected with source,

So lucid in this moment that you do something differently than you did back then.

Imagine the way you would have behaved from a place of remembering how loved and beautiful and connected you are,

Completely filled with source energy.

And if you'd like,

Continue this re-direction,

Re-imagining with any and all memories you have during this time in your life,

When you acted from a place of being asleep.

Redirect those scenes in your mind's eye now.

If you need to pause this recording in order to take as much time as you'd like,

Then please do so now.

Through this time-lapse camera,

Progress now through your adulthood,

Your college years,

Your early adulthood,

Your relationships,

Your learning opportunities,

Working,

Having a career or a job,

Paying bills,

Learning to become an adult and part of life.

And again,

Do those moments where you are truly awake,

Truly loving,

Truly giving,

Truly lucid,

Aware of your oneness with life itself and acting from the overflow of source.

Feel good about these moments and know that the ripple effect of these moments has truly altered the fabric of life itself.

The entire fabric of creation has been changed for the better because of this ripple effect that you set in motion in a most positive way.

And also,

Choose a moment or two or three of the times when you fell asleep and did not act from the highest place,

When you were afraid,

When you forgot how magnificent you are.

Without judging yourself,

Review those moments,

Identify them.

And if you need to pause the recording in order to review the entirety of them,

Then please do that now.

And just as we did earlier,

Choose a specific moment and re-envision it,

Re-imagine it,

Re-direct it in your mind's eye from a new perspective instead of being asleep and acting from a fear-based perspective.

Envision that you're suddenly completely wide awake and lucid,

Expressing love and generosity from the overflow of your connected with source being.

And envision the way you behave from this new perspective.

Go through all of the moments of your life leading up to this moment and re-envision all of the ones that you can remember that you'd like to have a do-over with.

Pause this recording as you take your time to continue to review,

Revisit,

And re-do these moments that you prefer or would have preferred to have gone differently from a more awake perspective.

Very good.

And with this next breath,

Bring yourself to the moment that you are prepared to cross over from the three-dimensional reality into the multi-dimensional reality.

In other words,

The moment of your death or your passing.

But from this moment's perspective,

You are wide awake and aware that there is no death.

There's just simply a transition from one moment into the next.

And see that at this moment,

You are completely lucid,

Awake and in love and completely connected to source.

Not a drop of fear in your body.

You are filled with joy,

Filled with light,

Tingling at the opportunity to make your transition.

And notice all of the people who love you,

Who have learned from you,

Who have grown as a result of knowing you,

Whose lives are better because of you.

Notice all of them celebrating your life,

Honoring your life,

Giving thanks for the difference you made in their life.

And with joy and this next breath,

Envision making this transition into the next.

And with this next breath,

Envision going beyond your death,

Beyond the veil,

Into the loving arms of spirit,

Love,

Joy,

Beauty,

And all of the ones who have gone before you,

Who are there to greet you.

And envision that you can take this wisdom that you now have and this excitement that you have about what's next in this next chapter of your experience.

Breathing this in all the way in.

How sweet it is to have this wisdom and this excitement and joy about the journey that lies ahead.

And with this next breath,

Breathe in all of this wisdom,

All that you've learned,

All that you've earned,

All that you've witnessed.

And see yourself sitting there in the Life Review Theater,

Glowing with joy with all that you have just witnessed and for all that you've just experienced and all the ways that you are more lucid,

More awake,

More in love with life than you've ever been.

Now take all of this with you,

Breathe all of this wisdom into yourselves,

Into your being,

Into your body.

And from the Life Review Theater with every breath,

You begin to descend back into this third dimensional reality,

Into this moment in time where you are seated or lying down,

Having this meditation.

And as you're breathing,

Feel all of this wisdom coming down,

Landing through your crown chakra,

Through your breathing into your heart,

Into your bones,

Into your cells,

Into your skin,

Into the follicles of your hair,

Landing in your belly,

In your legs,

In your toes.

And with these next couple of breaths,

Just feel the reorientation of your sense of self,

Your sense of being.

And with excitement,

Get a glimpse that while you're still here in this third dimension,

You get to bring this wisdom with you.

You don't have to wait until you die to have a Life Review or to have a profound experience like you just did.

You can do this anytime you choose.

Anytime you choose to bring the wisdom of your dreams and dreaming mind and your spirit and soul into this present moment,

You can do this.

And with this next breath,

Take this wisdom into your dream time tonight.

Or if you're prepared to go about your waking active life,

Then bring this awareness into every step you take,

Every interaction you have today.

Give thanks for yourself,

For your life,

And for all of the opportunities that you have to operate from a forgiving place,

From a place of being so connected to Source that your energy is for giving.

And give thanks for the opportunities when you forget,

When you forget who you are and become for getting.

But know that you can rearrange those moments.

You can redirect them.

You can alter them by the power of your thought.

Give thanks for this ability that you have.

With this breath,

Prepare to go into the next moment of your life with joy and a smile on your lips.

Sweet dreams.

Very effective in providing insight and access into the experiences which shaped who we are, and enabling us to make peace with those times when we were not our best selves. Length and pace are just right and there are opportunities to pause the meditation to allow more time to process and reflect, as needed.

Prepare to take some time with this one, since you might want to pause at several points to do the mind exercises. This can be a deep exploration of your life, emotions and things that have formed you, so might be too intense for a start-of-day meditation. I'd recommend it before sleep. Very powerful.
