Sit in a comfortable chair with your back straight and your feet planted firmly on the floor.
Your hands can rest comfortably on your lap.
Now bring your awareness to your breath and begin to start taking nice deep breaths.
Feeling yourself slowly relax.
Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose into your abdomen.
If your mind starts to wander,
Gently bring your awareness back to your breath.
As you breathe and relax,
You'll notice that your breath will start to take a more natural rhythm.
Notice any tension in your body and as you exhale,
Feel this tension being replaced by relaxation.
On your next inhale,
Smile slightly.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth,
Making a sound like a gentle breeze on a summer day.
Repeat this breath and on your next exhale,
Feel all the tension leave your body.
Now bring your awareness to a central point in your body wherever you may feel drawn to.
Now begin to breathe into this space and as you relax into this space,
You feel centered,
Relaxed and rejuvenated.
This relaxation extends from your center and flows through your entire body as you breathe,
Releasing any tension from the day.
You feel centered.
You feel grounded.
You are relaxed.
Now bring your awareness back to your breath,
Back to the present moment.
Slowly moving your fingers and your toes,
Coming back to this day and this moment.
When you feel that you are fully present,
You may open your eyes.
