Meet your Teacher

Kari Doherty is a yoga teacher, meditation guide, and wellness educator with over a decade of experience supporting individuals on their paths to healing and self-regulation. She holds an E-RYT 500 designation, is trained in trauma-informed and recovery-focused yoga, and brings deep knowledge of nervous system science and mindfulness practices. Kari’s teaching is grounded, compassionate, and accessible, helping people return to their bodies and find steadiness in uncertain times.

I had already mentioned this in a prior review, but this is one of the most concise, clear, and wise explorations and practice around our often problematic relationship with the digital world, social media, continuing stream of bad news, helping us build awareness of our relationship, exploring tools to better manage that relationship. this is a practice I will return to repeatedly.

A pleasant voice, clear diction, and a calm speaking style. The course opens with helpful tips presented in a clear and concise way. The guided meditations at the end of each session are relaxing, but quite short. As an introduction to the topic, this course is a good recommendation — thank you for that. Apparently, participants before me have also expressed a wish for longer meditations, as the teacher has created a follow-up course with longer sessions and more opportunity for contemplation, which I’m looking forward to exploring next.
