Throughout our lives, we have all experienced moments in which we felt “less than” or that we “didn’t matter.” These feelings may have surfaced due to what others may have said about us or from our internal dialogue. In this course, "You Matter," we will explore the many ways in which you do matter! In each lesson, you will come to appreciate yourself even more and recognize how amazing you already are. From thought-provoking questions to analyzing your outlook on life to learning practical techniques to overcome negative self-talk and external-talk from others, you will be able to finish this 10-day course knowing that your life has a purpose and that you matter.


Meet your Teacher

Kadeem One is a meditation teacher, holistic wellness coach, energy healing practitioner, aromatherapist, hypnotherapist and inspirational speaker. He uses his gifts, skills and abilities to work with a variety of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health issues. He has worked with varying populations at Google, Bloomberg, Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York University, Muhlenberg College, Brooklyn Friends School, The World Policy Institute and others. His expertise has been featured in Martha Stewart Living, The Huffington Post, Dance Magazine, Medium and Healthline.

Lesson 1

Be You

In this session, we will begin to embrace our greatness and all we have to offer the world. We will discover that we don’t need to be like anyone else in order to live the life we know we deserve and all we want to achieve.

Thank You

In this session, we will learn the importance of practicing gratitude in our everyday life. We tend to be thankful for the monumental moments in our lives but when do we ever take the time to truly be grateful for those things that we consider too mundane? This session will guide us through an exercise to be grateful for all things.

Lesson 3

Mind You

In this session, we will focus on taking those moments of gratitude from the previous lesson and find ways to truly be present with them. We will find the joy and peace in each activity and start to take the mind off autopilot so we become aware and in tune with what is happening around and within us. This will, in turn, get us to think and process in ways that we never thought were possible.

Lesson 4

Love You

In this session, we will find ways to love ourselves more. Some of us are givers and we deeply enjoy helping others, but we cannot continue to help others and love others if we are not loving ourselves first. After this session, you will be aware of the ways you can take care of yourself by tapping into self-love.

Lesson 5

Forgive You

In this session, we will explore the ways in which we can forgive ourselves. Sometimes, we don’t offer enough grace to ourselves when we make a mistake or when others make a mistake towards us. This session will give us a perspective on self-forgiveness along with the forgiveness of others.

Lesson 6

Protect You

In this session, we will learn ways in which we can energetically protect ourselves so that we can live life fully without letting others drain us of our energy. Some of us are connected to so many people on a consistent basis that when it comes down to taking care of ourselves or pursuing our own passions, we don’t have any more energy left. This session will help you change that so you can continue helping others and still have enough energy to do what you desire.

Lesson 7

Prosper You

In this session, we will learn the true meaning of prosperity. We think prosperity may just include money but it includes so much more than this. After this session, we will discover that we are actually prosperous in various areas of our lives while finding ways to boost the prosperity energy in other areas of our lives.

Lesson 8

Uplift You

In this session, we will learn to become our best cheerleaders. It feels good to have support and encouragement from others, but we may not always receive this in every situation we encounter. This session will help you analyze your internal dialogue to either improve upon it or adjust it so that you can cheer yourself on.

Lesson 9

Spirit You

In this session, we will discover and tune into our Spirit essence. We all have it, but may not be operating from this Spirit level in most of our daily interactions. If we did, what would change? How would our life be different? We explore these questions and more in this session.

Lesson 10

The Best You

In this session, we wrap up the course by looking back at the past nine sessions, reminding us of all the ways that we matter. We also explore all the ways you can easily integrate each lesson into your life right now so that you can start to live as the best version of yourself as often as you desire.
