Never Gone Away expresses the sorrow of a loved one leaving, while at the same time celebrating the love and memories that remain. Judy composed this song in 1979 for a dear friend leaving on an extended trip. She never imagined that forty years later, this song would hold so many additional meanings and encompass other loved ones that sadly departed from her life.

🙏💗I recently lost a cat named Lluna. I don't have any children, but she has been my child. She has been with me for 20 years and 3 and a half months. In the last few weeks I took care of her with all my love and she died in my arms. This song has touched my heart. She will always be with me.
