Hi,
My name is Jennifer Ransall Smith and Welcome.
This is a guided meditation for women 50 plus.
Women who've been struggling,
Trying to figure things out and adapt in this new world we're living in.
And feel as though something is wrong with them.
This is for you.
It's cold.
You were never the problem.
I want you to take a moment and find a comfortable position.
I want you to allow your shoulders to soften.
Release your jaw.
And let's take a flow.
Breath.
Through your nose.
And exhale completely.
Let's do that again.
And as you're breathing in,
I want you to breathe in possibility.
Exhale,
Pressure.
Let's go.
Inhale peace.
Exhale the need to have everything figured out.
Now,
I want you to allow yourself to become fully present for the next few moments.
Because there is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing you need to solve.
There's nothing you need to prove in this exact moment.
All you need to do is just breathe.
As you settle into this moment,
I want you to consider the possibility.
What if you were never the problem?
What if the discomfort you felt throughout your life wasn't because there was something wrong with you?
What if it was because you were trying to fit yourself inside of systems?
Expectations.
And beliefs that were never designed for the fullness of who you are.
Because you were born during a time when women were often taught to be agreeable rather than authentic.
Can you relate to that?
To be accommodating rather than ambitious.
To be grateful rather than questioning.
To stay quiet rather than speak up.
Many women learned that rocking the boat came with consequences.
That using their voice could make others uncomfortable.
Than asking for more.
Was selfish.
That sacrifice was noble.
And so.
The ramifications of that thinking.
Generations of women have learned to shrink.
Not because they lacked power.
But.
.
.
Because they lacked permission.
Take a breath.
Let that sink in for a moment.
And recognize that many of the women who raised us were doing the best they could with the tools that they were given.
They carried wounds.
They never had the opportunity to heal.
They accepted limitations they never had permission to challenge.
They survived.
And because they survived,
You are here.
But survival is not the same as freedom.
And today something is shifting.
At 50 and beyond,
Many women are waking up to a powerful truth.
They are realizing that the rules that they have followed no longer fit them.
The expectations they carried no longer serve them.
The stories they inherited.
No longer define them.
And while awakening is liberating,
It can also feel uncomfortable.
Why?
Because autonomy requires choices.
It requires honesty.
It requires courage.
It asks you to trust yourself in ways you have never before.
I want you to take another slow.
Breath.
I want you to imagine yourself standing at the threshold of a brand new chapter.
Behind you.
Are decades of expectations.
Roles,
Titles,
Responsibilities,
And lessons.
But ahead of you.
Is possibility.
A life designed not by obligation,
But by intention.
You.
Are not old.
You are experienced.
You are not finished.
You are just getting started.
There are still books to write.
Businesses to Launch.
Countries to visit.
Friendships to deepen.
Dreams to pursue.
Dinner parties to host.
Adventures to Embrace.
There are still versions of yourself waiting to be discovered.
Feel that truth.
Settling into your spirit.
The best chapter of your life does not have to be behind you.
It can begin right now.
And so today.
We're going to release the lie that we were the problem.
We release the belief.
That we are too much.
Too ambitious,
Too emotional,
Too outspoken,
Too sensitive,
Too late,
Too old,
Too this,
Too that,
Too anything.
And we're gonna embrace a new truth.
That the problem was never your potential.
The problem was the thinking that convinced you to doubt it.
NOW!
Repeat silently after me.
I was never the problem.
I release what no longer serves me.
I honor the woman.
Who came before me.
I choose a new path.
For the women who will come after me.
My voice matters.
My dreams matter.
My desires matter.
I trust myself.
I am worthy of joy.
I am worthy of abundance.
I am worthy of expansion.
I am capable of reinvention.
I am stepping into my power.
I am creating a life that reflects who I truly am.
My best years are not behind me.
My next chapter is beginning right now.
I want you to take one final deep breath.
Feel yourself grounded.
Anchored.
Aligned.
And empowered.
The woman you have been waiting to become is already within you.
She has always been there.
And today.
You give her permission.
To rise.
So when you are ready.
I want you to gently open your eyes.
And step forward.
Because the world is waiting for the fullest.
Expression.
Of who you are.
Woo!
Thank you so much.
Namaste.
