Calling The Ancestors

I wrote this song at a time when I wasn't feeling the presence or support of my ancestors. It was also at a time when I wasn't applying my creative gifts of writing and singing. I invited them to come. Their message in return was: "When you hum, and when you drum...we will come."

I sing this song when I want to call them when I am alone, and as an invocation in creating sacred space with others.
