Self-love meditation.
Find a comfortable seated position,
Palms facing upward.
You may wish to lie down.
Beginning now to bring awareness to the breath,
Taking a long deep breath in,
Opening the chest and releasing as you breathe out.
Breathing in,
Opening the chest,
Exhaling,
Grounding in.
Drawing the shoulders back and down,
Finding a gentleness in the body,
Taking another deep breath in,
Completely relaxing into this space.
Coming into your own gentle rhythm,
Following the breath.
Noticing your forehead,
Noticing any tension,
Softening and just letting go.
Feeling around the eyes,
Then just softening.
Feeling the breath soften your neck,
Your shoulders,
Feeling the points of connection to the earth.
Just witnessing the subtle sensations,
How the breath is being received and how you are releasing the breath.
The feeling as it enters the tip of the nose.
Allow your breath to maintain this effortless presence.
Feeling peaceful and connected.
Breathing softly,
Feel the heart expand,
Feeling the chest rise and open,
Feeling the body ground and release into the earth.
Through the breath we can feel love,
Directly and powerfully.
We realign,
We cleanse our subtle body and reestablish our mind body connection and our connection to the heart.
So continue this heart opening breath,
Breathing gently into your center.
