Hello and welcome to this chakra meditation.
Sit tall or lay down with a straight spine.
Drawing your attention to your breathing.
As you inhale.
Notice its quality.
Exhale.
Is your breath short or shallow?
Could you breathe in more deeply?
And exhale more slowly.
Allow your slow breathing to relax your body.
Simply breathing deeply in.
And slowly out.
In.
And out through the nose.
Inhale again,
Feeling energy flowing up your spine.
Exhale.
Allowing your breath to ground you through the tailbone.
Focus your attention here.
At the base of your spine.
This is the center of your root chakra,
Muladhara.
Visualize a spherical orb of energy here.
It's red in color,
Representing your sense of stability and security.
Breathe deeper into this space,
Expanding the vibrant red energy spinning around your tailbone.
Repeat to yourself silently.
I am safe.
Taking a new deep breath in.
Follow this orb of energy upwards as it fades into an orange color settling just below your navel.
This is your sacral chakra.
Svahistana.
The center of sexuality.
Feelings,
And creativity.
Feel this space expand and radiate with your breath.
Affirm to yourself.
I am alive.
Inhale deeply.
And feel this orange orb spiral further upwards,
Settling just above the navel.
See this energy transform into a vibrant yellow color at your solar plexus chakra,
Manipura.
This is the seat of your soul,
Governing confidence,
Free will,
And inspired action.
Feel this warm,
Glowing energy vibrate through your core and fill you with power.
Repeat in your mind,
I am powerful.
Now,
Take another deep breath in,
Feeling this orb rising further up the spine and settling just behind the heart,
Transforming into the most radiant green color.
This is your heart chakra.
Anahata.
The center of giving and receiving love.
Inhale deeply into your heart,
Letting the beautiful green orb expand and fill you with loving warmth.
Affirming deeply in your heart.
I am loved.
With another inhale.
Invite this radiant orb of energy further upward as it turns blue and settles into the throat.
The throat chakra,
Ajna.
Is the center of communication and self-expression.
Allow your throat to expand and open with your next deep breath in and feel the throat clear as you exhale.
Breathe in clarity and confidence.
It is safe to express your truth fully.
Repeat to yourself,
I am expressive.
With your next inhale.
Notice the blue orb of energy fade into a vibrant indigo color as it spirals further upward to the brow bone.
With eyes closed,
Look slightly upward at the space between your eyes.
This third eye chakra,
Vishuddha,
Is the seat of your intuition.
Visualize the bright indigo color expanding outward as you breathe in,
Opening your third eye to the infinite intelligence of the universe.
Affirming to yourself.
I am intuitive.
Breathe in deeply.
Feeling this energy still rising up now to the top of your head.
Turning purple or white as it settles at your crown chakra.
Sahasrara.
Notice this energy expanding with your breath.
Opening the channel of connection to you and the divine.
Reminding you that you are one with God and the universe.
Repeat yourself silently,
I am divine.
Continue slowly breathing in.
And out.
Let this healing energy flow back down and up the spine in a waterfall of color.
You might see the wheels of energy spinning,
Expanding.
And opening the flow of energy.
Feel the kundalini life force energy rising from the base of your spine.
Up and out through the crown of your head.
And divine energy channeling all the way back down.
Rooting you securely.
With Mother Earth below.
As you breathe in and out.
Absorb the truth of these affirmations,
Feeling free to repeat them aloud or silently.
I am safe.
I am alive.
Mmm.
I am powerful.
I am loved.
I am expressive.
Mmm.
I am intuitive.
I am divine.
Hmm.
Let yourself be bathed in this colorful,
Cleansing waterfall of energy.
For four to five more breaths.
Slowly beginning to return your awareness to your surroundings.
Perhaps you notice the sounds around you.
And the sensations of energy.
Flowing through your body.
Gently bring movement back into your fingers and toes.
Roll your neck and shoulders.
Take one more deep breath in.
Reaching arms up overhead.
Exhale.
Relax and turn the corners of your mouth upward.
Thank yourself for giving and receiving this healing practice.
You are connected.
You are loved.
You are whole.
When you're ready,
Softly bat the eyelids open.
Welcome back.
To the rest of your day.
Namaste.
