Lezione 1
The Rewilding
Part 1 of your course embarks on a transformative journey to rediscover our intrinsic wholeness, urging participants to resonate deeply with their own experiences over any pre-conceived notions or ideas. The course stresses the theme of personal sovereignty and how it's often compromised from a young age in exchange for a sense of belonging. This bargain, driven by our vulnerability, is the focal point of the discussion.
The session invites participants to recognize and heal from how society, relationships, spiritual teachings, and self-imposed beliefs demand sacrificing our identity for acceptance. This compromise causes a disconnect from our authentic selves, making us feel unseen and unheard. The course dives into the pitfall of seeking validation externally rather than finding fulfillment within, highlighting how conditioned behaviors and societal pressures only deepen the chasm within ourselves, preventing true inner peace and wholeness.
I emphasize the futility of filling this void with external validations and encourage attendees to instead explore their deep-seated needs to reclaim their identity, to heal on their terms, and to embrace their uniqueness without conforming to social expectations. This exploration is fundamental, not just for an understanding of self but also to begin healing the wounds that come from these societal bargains.

The Story-less Experience
Part 2 of your course delves deeper into the transformative journey of self-discovery and healing by examining the bargain we make whereby we trade truth for the illusion of healing. In this lesson, the focus shifts to the way we often seek healing through the very aspects of ourselves that are wounded, perpetuating a cycle of suffering.
I teach that our fundamental perceptions are shaped by thoughts that, while seemingly integral to our identities, do not accurately reflect reality. I advocate for a direct engagement with the sensory experiences of the present moment, bypassing thoughts to tap into the silent truth of our wholeness that exists beyond the mind’s constructs. This expands the understanding that reality—already whole and unbroken—cannot be encapsulated by the divisive nature of thought, introducing a healing paradigm that privileges being overthinking.
The part discusses the collective tendency to fill voids within ourselves with conceptual knowledge and intellectual pursuits, suggesting that real progress in healing may not necessarily involve enhancing our thoughts but, rather, reducing their dominance in our lives. By grounding ourselves in the felt reality of the moment and recognizing the deeper truths it reveals about our inherent wholeness, we can begin to alleviate the self-imposed separations that cause suffering.

The Selfless Self
Part 3 of your course guides participants to explore the profound notion of self and the bargains we make to establish and retain our sense of identity. In this part, you invite the learners to embrace uncertainty as a profound teacher that reveals more through our questions and doubts than our certainties. By drawing attention to the mysterious essence of the universe mirrored in our inner lives, this session encourages a deep introspection about the self and the illusions of refuge and safety we often cling to.
The narrative encourages participants to reconsider their understanding of 'self', pushing them to explore where exactly this sense of self resides, often imagined as being located behind our eyes or within our heads. The session guides participants to question and experience directly the ephemeral and constructional nature of the 'self', emphasizing that no solid or separate self exists within us, but rather, a continuous neural activity that builds and maintains our identity.
Through this exploration, you aim to demystify the self, urging attendees to realize that our attempts to fortify or enliven the self through enhancements (whether spiritual or material) are actually nurturing the very illusion of separation that causes suffering. This part emphasizes a deeper truth that shifting beyond these self-imposed boundaries into a realm where we experience life beyond the narrow confines of personal identity fosters genuine healing and wholeness.

The Divine Body
Part 4 of your course explores the profound connection between spiritual aspirations and physical existence. It challenges the notion of spiritual bypassing, where individuals might seek spiritual enlightenment at the expense of neglecting their physical and earthly experiences. This part of the course emphasizes the importance of recognizing and integrating both the spiritual and physical aspects of self to attain true freedom and wholeness.
Participants will engage in meditations that promote an awareness and acceptance of the physical self, complemented by journal prompts aimed at reflecting on instances of possible spiritual escapism. This lesson highlights the dangers of dualistic thinking—separating the spiritual from the physical—and advocates for a more holistic approach that doesn't shun our physical existence but embraces it as fundamental to our spiritual journey.
By drawing on various spiritual traditions and modern psychological insights, this lesson underscores the importance of a balanced life where spiritual growth does not forsake physical reality but incorporates it, leading to a fuller, more authentic existence. Through embracing the totality of our experiences, students will uncover a deeper sense of presence and connection, fostering an enriched understanding of what it means to live spiritually and physically engaged lives.

The Aware Heart
Part 5 of your course delves into the intimate dynamics of love and the universal longing to be liberated from suffering. Here, the spotlight is on the sacrifices we make, consciously or subconsciously, for the prospect of love, often hoping it will be our salvation from the inherent pains of existence. With heartfelt eloquence, this part of your course unravels the illusions we nurture about love, ones that promise to shield us from life's unavoidable discomforts.
As the course progresses, you articulate a profound insight: true wholeness does not eliminate suffering, trauma, or memory; instead, it encapsulates the totality of our experiences, recognizing divinity in every aspect of our being. You guide participants through a journey of acknowledging and embracing their physical presence as a gateway to their most sacred selves. This holistic embrace challenges the dualistic separation between the divine and the mundane, which you describe as not only misguided but also a source of significant spiritual distress.
This session encourages participants to ground themselves in their bodies and their immediate experiences. This rooting is portrayed not as a retreat from the reality of suffering but as an essential engagement with it. By facing our pains directly, without the mediation of conceptual awareness, we encounter the unadorned reality of our existence. This encounter is depicted as a fountainhead of genuine liberation, where we find freedom not from suffering but within it, by embracing the full spectrum of our life's experiences.
Lezione 6
The Homecoming
Part 6 of your course delves into the profound idea that the true essence of wholeness is found in simplicity, not in complexity or the endless pursuit of spiritual destinations. This session underscores the frequent oversight that the search for wholeness can become overly complicated and even misguided by the expectations of acquiring more knowledge or achieving a specific state.
In this part of the course, you shift the focus to the importance of being present in the moment as a means of integrating the wisdom encountered along the journey. By recognizing that the desire for belonging, healing, and freedom are already satisfied in the simplicity of the present, participants learn to see the sufficiency in just being. The lesson pivots around using our aches as cues to return to our natural, undistorted state of being—reflective of the inherent wholeness that does not require augmentation or alteration.
This transformative narrative encourages a deep engagement without the distraction of supposed endpoints or achievements. It highlights how integration is less about amalgamating different insights into a coherent whole and more about allowing these insights to resonate and reveal their wisdom without the compulsion to actively assimilate them. This approach fosters a living expression of wisdom embodied in the simplicity of everyday experiences, enabling participants to find clarity and joy in uncertainty, fostering a compassionate, joyous, and grateful way of being.
Lezione 7
I Am
Part 7 of your course delves deeply into my own personal story. It explores the profound yet often overlooked truths that surface when we cease to seek beyond ourselves for liberation and start to recognize the freedom inherent within our very being. I speak of what brought me to write this course and share an intimate journey through my crisis with depersonalization, dissociation, anxiety, addiction, and CPTSD that initiated my journey into self-inquiry.
This part of the course, traversing through personal anecdotes and shared experiences, highlights the futility of searching for spiritual or existential fulfillment solely through external means, be it societal validation, material success, or even traditional spiritual pursuits.
This portion of the course illuminates how the very act of seeking can itself become a barrier to discovering the tranquillity and wholeness that exist naturally within us. It challenges participants to look inward, to remember and reconnect with the 'self' that is not constructed from experiences but is the silent observer of those experiences—ever calm, ever-present. This is positioned not as a destination to be reached but as a realization to be embraced: that home is not a place or a state, but a fundamental understanding of oneself as already whole and intrinsically free.
