Silent Night

I'm not religious, but this is one of my favorite Christmas songs. The melody and chords are timeless beauty in my opinion. I have fond memories of it being played while my mom or grandma were cooking in the kitchen. When I started teaching guitar, this became a favorite of my guitar students to learn. I also brought my guitar and played it in yoga classes around the holidays! People have been asking me to record a version of it. Enjoy and happy holidays! Released elsewhere as Matt Bingham.

I am a Christian and Silent Night always makes me feel so peaceful and relaxed and filled with joy and love. It reminds me of Christmas Eve Service at church. Silent Night is always the last song we sing, with all of the lights turned out, and only the glow of our own handheld candles (lit from 1 candle and used to light your neighbor's until everyone's is aglow) as a source of vision. We sing every verse and all have music except for the last one which we sing as a church acapella. Truly one of my favorite Earthly experiences throughout my life. I must say that your rendition was very beautiful! God has blessed you with a very nice voice. Thank You for sharing your gift with us. Thanks Be To God! Praise Jesus Christ! 😀
