Silent Night

I'm not religious, but this is one of my favorite Christmas songs. The melody and chords are timeless beauty in my opinion. I have fond memories of it being played while my mom or grandma were cooking in the kitchen. When I started teaching guitar, this became a favorite of my guitar students to learn. I also brought my guitar and played it in yoga classes around the holidays! People have been asking me to record a version of it. Enjoy and happy holidays! Released elsewhere as Matt Bingham. Lyrics written by Joseph Mohr in 1816 and music composed by Franz Xaver Gruber in 1818.
