Andromeda

I hope you will enjoy this atmospheric, ambient music track that features relaxing swells of synth instruments. “Andromeda” has an otherworldly vibe and is inspired by the Andromeda Galaxy, the closest major galaxy to the Milky Way. The Andromeda Galaxy appears within the constellation Andromeda, which is named after the princess Andromeda in Greek mythology. This beautiful, barred spiral galaxy is 2.5 million light years away from Earth (and getting closer).

Some scientists predict that the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy may collide and form a new, huge elliptical-shaped galaxy. This wouldn’t happen for over 4 billion years and is not certain to happen. Earth and our solar system are said to survive this event but will inhabit a new spot within the incredible cosmos in which we live.
