This 23-minute chakra meditation will assist you to balance and harmonise your chakra energy system. Chakras are the energy centers of the body. They are located in the astral body along the spine, starting at the base of the spine and running upwards to the crown of the head. The Chakras coincide with a gland in the physical body and each radiates a specific color and energy. Just like our physical body needs maintenance, our energy bodies also need energy clearing.

Welcome to this Aligned Living Chakra Meditation.

This meditation can be done in a seated position with a nice long spine.

You might like to sit in a chair or alternatively you might like to sit or lay on the floor or lay somewhere comfortable.

You might like to allow yourself to slowly start to connect in with your breath,

Your physical body and if you know that your body temperature quite often drops suddenly you might even like to grab a blanket and cover yourself.

Eventually allowing the eyes to comfortably close and melting into the breath,

The body,

Relaxing through the belly and the chest and softening your mind.

Feeling the support beneath you through the buttocks or maybe the entire body,

The back of the body resting on the ground.

Allowing the ground to support you,

Support the weight so that you can sink deeper and deeper.

Noticing what you're hearing and becoming aware of the sounds around you.

Allowing them to be and to not disturb.

Noticing the light and the shade as the air moves in and out through your body.

Sensing the sky above and the horizon stretching all the way around you and the earth below supporting you.

Allowing the mind and your thoughts to empty what is no longer serving in this moment.

Letting it go,

Flow out and drift away.

Allow your body to release all that it no longer needs to hold onto.

Letting it go,

Flow out and drift away.

Draw yourself back into the heart,

Into yourself,

Into your body and letting go of where you've been today.

It's time to draw your energy back to your home,

To your center,

To yourself.

It's time to ground,

Reconnect and reunite.

Begin to sense the space around you.

Breathing with the space and becoming aware of the rising and falling of your belly and your chest as you breathe.

Noticing the sounds,

The temperature.

And what you can sense.

Breathe down with the body of your,

The weight of your body rests and slowly starting to notice your feet.

Allowing or imagining this connection of the earth,

The crust,

The core of the earth connecting with your feet.

Allowing your energy to be drawn up from the center of the earth up through your feet to the base of your spine,

Your root chakra.

Allowing your attention to rest on your root chakra as you breathe into your roots.

That sense of support and belonging.

Of feeling safe and secure.

Allowing your root chakra to grow and expand as you visualize the colour red.

Allowing your root chakra to connect down,

Down into the ground below,

Deep into the earth.

The colour red growing and expanding.

Bathing your root chakra with the energy of empowerment,

Groundedness,

Embodying and support.

Allow the root chakra to take all that it needs from the earth.

And saying to yourself,

The earth supports me.

I support me.

I am fully safe and secure.

When you are ready,

Allow your awareness to softly move from the root chakra to below your belly to your sacral chakra.

The chakra of emotional intelligence,

Choice,

Creativity,

Movement,

Pleasure and birth.

Breathe into your sacral chakra.

Let it gently soften and expand as you breathe.

Feeling into the life force and inviting the colour orange to come into your awareness.

The colour of the setting sun.

Allow this orange light to expand and grow.

Allow it to balance and empower and motivate.

Connecting you back with your divine feminine.

And saying to yourself these following words.

I honour my needs.

I am creative and can birth all that I desire.

I allow life to be pleasurable.

And when you are ready,

Releasing the energy of the sacral chakra and softly moving your awareness to below the breast bone to the solar plexus.

Your chakra of personal power.

Breathing into this area.

Allowing the solar plexus to soften and expand as you breathe.

And inviting in the colour yellow.

The colour of sunshine.

Bathing your solar plexus with sunshine as it replenishes,

Restores and nurtures.

Allowing this yellow light to grow and expand.

Bringing you a sense of confidence,

Power and willingness.

And saying to yourself I value myself.

I am enough.

I am worthy.

And I have faith and trust in the universe.

Releasing the energy of the solar plexus now.

And when you are ready,

Bringing your awareness up to the centre between the chest to your heart.

Your chakra of self-development and unconditional love.

Gently bathe your heart,

Letting it soften and expand as you breathe.

And inviting in the colour pink.

The pink of a rose.

Allowing this pink energy to grow and expand.

Bathing the heart with love,

Nourishment and healing energy.

And then repeating these words to yourself.

I am loved.

I allow myself to give and receive love freely.

I am nourished by the power of love.

Breathing into your heart.

And when you are ready,

Moving your attention up to your neck to your throat chakra.

The chakra of self-expression,

Communication and personal will.

Allow the throat to soften and expand as you breathe.

And inviting in the colour blue.

The colour of the sky.

Breathe the sky into your throat chakra.

Clearing,

Opening,

Softening and freeing your self-expression and communication.

And then saying these words to yourself.

I hear and speak my truth.

I express myself freely.

I allow myself to go with the flow of life.

I communicate authentically.

Opening to this blue vibration.

And then when you are ready,

Slowly moving your focus up to your forehead between your eyebrows.

The third eye centre.

The chakra of wisdom and intuition.

Allowing it to soften and expand as you breathe.

And inviting in the colour indigo.

The velvety colour of the night sky.

Allowing it to grow and expand.

Balancing and bringing clarity and insight,

Wisdom and understanding.

And repeating these words to yourself.

I now trust my intuition.

I am guided by the wisdom within.

I trust that everything is unfolding as it should.

Breathing into your eyebrow centre.

And when you are ready,

Moving your attention up to the top of the head to your crown chakra.

The chakra of oneness.

Allowing this chakra to grow and expand as you invite in the colour white.

Allowing this chakra to balance,

Restore and harmonise.

Feeling this connection of oneness with all.

And repeating these words to yourself.

I am one with the universe.

I am whole.

I am connected to everything.

Feeling this white light energy now beaming over your entire body.

Feeling the connection of the feet still with the centre of the ground,

The earth.

Feeling the red energy at your base chakra.

The orange energy at your sacral chakra.

The yellow energy at your solar plexus.

The pink energy at your heart.

The blue energy at your throat.

The indigo energy at your third eye.

And the beautiful white light at the top of the crown of the head now beaming over your entire body.

Feeling into the whole body here,

Rejuvenated,

Restored and balanced.

Feeling grounded and connected,

Revitalised and energised.

And when you are ready,

Coming back to your whole body resting on the ground or in a meditative seat.

Feeling into your whole body,

From the tips of the toes to the top of the head.

And taking three breaths to come back.

And repeating these words to yourself.

I am whole.

I am perfect just the way I am.

Allowing this energy and these words to bathe into your body,

Your mind and your soul.

Eventually starting to notice the fingers and the toes and just wiggling your fingers and your toes.

Taking your time here.

There is no hurry.

In your own time,

Softly starting to become aware of the air as you breathe in and out.

The sounds around you in the distance or close.

It's time to close down the chakras.

Dropping the visualisation and just coming back into the physical world.

Feeling the support beneath you and at the feet and at the connection,

The connection at the top of the head.

Notice how you feel right now.

Hold yourself with loving kindness for the beautiful,

Unique being that you are.

And when you're ready,

You can slowly start to move a little more.

And whenever you feel called,

Opening your eyes and softly and slowly coming back in your day.

Coming back to feeling a little more peace,

Harmony and balance.
