Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified,
Died and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body,
And life everlasting.

At the urging of his mother,
Jesus makes his power known and enters upon his ministry.

The mother of Jesus was there,
And Jesus and his disciples had also been invited.

Meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews.
Jesus said to the servants,
Fill the jars with water,
And they filled them to the brim.

He told them,

They did this.
The steward tasted the water,
And it had turned into wine.

And keep the cheaper sort till the guests have had plenty to drink.
But you have kept the best wine till now.

He let his glory be seen,
And his disciples believed in him.

We may both imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise.
