So wonderfully told! I was inspired to see if I could find the Shirley Temple movie I remember loving as a child, loved by my mom when she was a girl (released in 1939!) and it’s available On Demand! Oh poor Sarah. So many references throughout these stories you have read Hilary which are most poignant to meditation. Interesting indeed. The first being able to hear all the words without brain chatter. Excellent exercise and most enjoyable. I really look forward to each new chapter and see many parallels to my parents upbringing oddly. These stories were somehow in my childhood memories too.
