Hello,
Thank you for joining me today for our short meditation on prayers for a good life.
Many of us pray or ask for help,
But we may not entirely ask in the right way.
For what you wish for because you might just get it is an old adage that warns us to be very specific about what it is our heart desires.
From the book Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnick,
She writes in her section under answered prayers.
Very often the reason we're uncomfortable is because we've not been praying for the right thing,
And on some deep level we know it.
We pray to meet our soulmate instead of praying for the grace to become the woman our soulmate would be attracted to.
We pray for worldly success when what we really long for is a sense of authentic accomplishment.
We pray for more money when what we need is a change in our relationship to money.
We pray for a certain outcome in any given situation when what we should be praying for is peace of mind no matter which outcome occurs.
So today let's spend a few minutes asking for the prayers that can change our life and change how we see the world.
So if you haven't already,
Please close your eyes,
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Take a few deep long breaths,
And allow your body to soften.
Sitting comfortably,
Repeat these statements in your mind.
I am changing my relationship with money so that I may have financial freedom.
I am changing my relationship with money so that I may have financial freedom.
I am doing the hard internal work to attract healthy relationships.
I am doing the hard internal work to attract healthy relationships.
I am taking care of my body and my mind because I love and respect myself.
I am taking care of my body and mind because I love and respect myself.
I am living each moment mindfully to not let this one life pass me by.

I am fulfilled in life because I live with purpose.
I am fulfilled in life because I live with purpose.
Notice if your body has tensed up.
Re-relax your hands and feet and the muscles around your face with each long deep breath.
Settle in just for a moment longer,
Letting these affirmations and prayers sink into your cells.
I encourage you to go through the day today trying to see the things you wish for in a new lens.
What can we do for ourselves to change the dialogue so that what we truly desire appears to us?
