Welcome.
Thank you for joining me for this short meditation on healing our body.
Allow yourself to be in a position of comfort.
There is no right or wrong.
We do not need to sit,
Lay,
Stand in any particular way.
Just allow your body to be comfortable.
If pain is an ailment,
Do what you need.
Maybe you're propping yourself up with pillows,
Sitting on cushions,
Laying,
Having blankets over you,
An eye mask,
Maybe holding something in your hands,
Taking care to be as comfortable as you can,
Putting socks on,
Taking socks off.
This is your time.
You know what you need.
So take a moment and find yourself in an easy,
Comfortable position.
And if you're able today,
Close your eyes.
And if not,
Have your gaze be cast down,
Gently allowing the eye muscles to soften,
Not having to focus on anything,
Allowing peace to wash over your face.
And now bring your awareness to your breath,
Exhaling all your breath out,
Inhaling deeply through the nose,
Sipping the air in,
Feeling cool air coming into your nose and your lungs.
And exhaling slowly and completely,
Taking a moment to becoming aware of our breath.
Maybe this is the first time all day.
Inhaling again,
Feeling relaxation and peace and healing energy wash through your whole body.
And as you exhale,
Pain,
Discomfort,
Dis-ease,
Escaping your body through the breath.
This next breath,
Go to the area that needs healing in your body,
Breathing into this space,
Feeling yourself becoming healed,
Lighter,
Full of energy and vibrance.
And exhale completely,
Letting everything go,
Letting everything go.
Feeling naturally for yourself,
Allowing your body to softly settle and expand.
The contraction of pain or suffering is loosening,
Lessening.
Allow acceptance of what is right now to wash over your whole being.
Notice if any areas of tightness are creeping in.
And as you take deep,
Full breaths,
Allow the face and the back of the head to soften,
Releasing any grinding or clenching of the jaw.
Allow your shoulders and upper back to untense,
Unclench and let go.
Allow all the muscles from your shoulders to your elbows to your wrists and fingertips to be soft.
Noticing any sensation in the throat or the chest.
And taking a moment to take a deep breath in and a long breath out.
Let the stomach muscles go.
Allow your mid back and your lower back to relax,
Becoming just a little more comfortable.
Feeling your hips soften and your legs unwinding,
Being loose.
Notice any sensations in the ankles and the feet.
And lastly,
The hands.
Let go.
Visualize a healthy brain,
A healthy heart.
Breathe and relax.
Allow your kidneys to function properly and the liver,
Pancreas,
Spleen,
Reproductive organs.
Visualize everything working and healing from within.
Being kind and gentle with yourself.
Remembering that this too shall pass.
And there was a time of great health.
And there will be a time of great health again.
And allow what is here right now.
Being present with the physical bodily sensations.
Noticing if there's any judgment for yourself for the moment.
And just notice it and let it go.
As the judging feelings do not help,
They do not heal.
Allow a cleansing breath of relaxation to wash over you.
Visualize your body well and healed and full of life and vitality.
Visualize your body glowing,
Gleaming with energy,
Excitement.
Breathing,
Relaxing,
Accepting.
Take one more cleansing breath,
Allowing the breath to go where it needs in the body.
Visualize your arms around each other,
Squeezing gently,
Allowing comfort,
Support and love.
Allowing yourself to give these things wholeheartedly to yourself.
Take one more relaxing breath.
Letting anything that tends to release.
When you're ready,
Have some movement in your fingers,
In your toes.
Open your eyes if they've enclosed.
Take a moment to look around the safe environment that you're in.
Thank you so much for allowing me the precious gift of your time.
Until next time,
Be well.
