Where do we and can we find and source a real source of hope in today's times? Many prolific speakers have spoken on the topic with their own unique points of view. This track is a collaboration with my colleague Tamira Cousett. Tamira can also be found on Insight Timer. Tamira is a medium and student of ancestral and earth-honoring wisdom and ritual facilitation. She is dedicated to co-weaving liberated, reverence-filled ritual containers and intergenerational ancestral connections across space and time. She is honored to co-weave containers and ancestral connections that facilitate transformation, and healing and celebrate all forms of ancestral diversity through embodied practice, ritual, and song. I am learning that hope is not about feeling good and smiling.

I am learning that hope is about honoring our capacity to feel,

Not numbing our feelings of grief and rage and heartache.

I am learning that hope holds room for all of our feelings.

I am learning that hope is a multidimensional practice,

A way of being that centers our interdependence with one another and all of creation.

I am learning that hope invites us to return to ourselves and one another within the webs of kinship and belonging that we are woven into.

Hope is the practice of remaining and refusing to isolate and disconnect from the web of connection in the presence of deep,

Deep trouble and deep,

Deep sorrow.

I am learning that this life is an invitation to draw our hope from deeper wells and reservoirs more vast than our own.

I am learning that this life is an invitation to source our hope from the webs of kinship and belonging that we are woven into.

I am learning that it is not my job to carry hope for the world,

But it is my work to stay connected and open to feeling the hope that lives within me and all of my relations.

Today I am sourcing hope from the great waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Where and how are you sourcing hope?

How are you staying connected to hope?
