Hey everybody,
It's Marcus here from Village Voices Journey.
We hope you're well and we'd like to invite you to play a game with us as we create a healthy habit within our community in our village.
And the game is called hashtag word of the week and it happens and starts on Monday at the beginning of the week and I'm gonna see if I can give you a few good reasons to play.
One is that you get to be an important researcher in a micro experiment in a micro experiment you know tweaking reality seeing how much capacity do we how much power do we have to actually affect those the way that we experience our present to present you know moment to moment presence.
Two,
We get to build a healthy habit together as a community.
I mean I know how easy it is to start off really strong with something and then fall off because they didn't have the support so it's got to be simple and it's got to be supported by other people you know so you get to do it in solidarity.
All right great so how do we play?
Well the first step is you choose a word choose a simple word that you that gets to be kind of like a mindset or a theme for the week.
It could be something like spaciousness or it could be something like self-love it could be something like fierceness it could be something like optimization you know really the sky's the limit but simpler and the clearer the better.
The next step is it just let it come up throughout the day throughout your moments and throughout the week.
No need to try too hard to like focus on it very rigidly is you just it's just an experiment and so throughout those moments throughout your day throughout the week notice if you experience a shift or a different kind of a mindset emerging something else that may be available to you you know it could be a shift it could be seen through a new lens it could it could lead to it a subtle insight or profound self-discovery or realization.
If you like throughout the week you can check in on the feed and just give a rating out of ten just to be like hey we just call it our barometer which means you know how connected are you feeling to this word throughout the week.
It could be low could be mid it could be high.
At the end of the week on Sunday if you like you can check in with one insight that you had from playing this game and if you like on Monday you can start all over again.
This week I chose discoverability and it just rocked my socks.
It wasn't it was much stronger than last week but I'm so convinced that this works well for me that I'm gonna play again and I'm so excited to play with you.
