A Letter to Humanity By the time you read this,

I hope you've found love.

The love that's tucked into early morning sunrises.

The love that's felt in the gentle whispers from the wind.

And the love that's alive in the crackle of a child's sweet,

Sweet laughter.

By the time you read this,

I hope you've found peace.

The peace that's pressed into Caribbean palm trees that plie under bluish-violet skies.

Peace that carries your shattered heart with the world,

Keeps falling apart.

And the peace that gently mixes full-body massages with meditative touch as medicine to mend the soul.

By the time you read this,

I hope you've found your true self.

The self that's buried under social,

Cultural,

And religious conditioning.

I said the self that's buried under social,

Cultural,

And religious conditioning.

The self that longs to open up and tend to the softness within.

The softness within.

The softness within.

And the self that's unafraid to be.

To be the poet.

To be the poem.

To be alive within each line and stanza of your own life.

By the time you read this,

I hope you've found love.

By the time you read this,

I hope you've found peace.

And by the time you read this,

I hope you've found your truest,

Most beautiful version of yourself waiting to be released.

You
