Dear Beloved,
I see you standing under the stars with a heavy load,
Burdened with a million unanswered questions.
I see you carrying the heaviness of unprocessed baggage on your shoulders.
You have strong,
Beautiful shoulders.
I see the lines on your face,
Drawing a picture of conflicting emotions.
In this sacred moment,
I wish you would honour yourself by taking this opportunity to draw a deep,
Strengthening breath in.
And as you exhale,
Slowly lay it all down.
Surrender the burden in your heart and in your mind,
Allow yourself enough compassion to lay it all down.
Give yourself this necessary break.
Give yourself a chance.
Give yourself the opportunity to look into the darkness with your eyes open.
Allow your inner eyes the time to adjust to this darkness you feel inside.
Settle into the discomfort of your emotions.
They will quieten.
In the same way you stretch a tight muscle and the body will thank you for it.
It's the same way there is an emotional discomfort that arises.
It's tense at first,
But if you work on it,
You will enjoy the flexibility and agility you gain.
Your heart will thank you for this inner work.
As you sit here,
You are giving yourself the time and the space to stretch.
And you are resilient enough to get through the darkness.
You've done it before.
It is true that the answers lie within you.
Give yourself the opportunity to gather your broken pieces.
Allow yourself the opportunity to figure things out.
You are light and wisdom.
In time and with patience,
You will see the stars appear before you.
First you will see one dim star,
Then a hundred and thousand more.
It feels like a light at the end of the tunnel.
Continue to accept what is and look with curiosity further into the darkness.
You will be arrested by the beauty and magnificence the darkness of night has to offer you.
A magical sight,
A beautiful night.
It is offering itself to you and for you,
Beloved,
All the stars have come out.
There before you are all the answers and instructions you seek.
Like an ancient map with secret calligraphy written in the language of your spirit.
The answers long to be unearthed by you.
Are you not made of stardust?
You are.
You can work it out.
There in the stillness,
You will hear all the voices you need to hear.
Spend the time you need under the stars long enough.
They only come out at night.
The stars are precious gems that are unearthed from a very dark night,
A difficult time,
A challenging season.
Extract the lesson.
Seek out your inner wisdom.
Hold on to the words that are life and light.
May your darkest night and may your darkest days serve you spectacular gems you never imagined or even expected.
Blessings,
Light and love to you,
Dear one,
As you navigate your night time.
