My Irish Granny used to sing this to me as a child and it brought me to tears listening to it, but at the same time I'm so pleased to have found it here as it brings back so many happy memories of her supreme kindness and unconditional love. Thank you Lisa Marie 🙏

My mother, who was Prussian, used to sing this all the time. This brought back a flood of memories, realizing she had a beautiful voice! She died at the age of 40. I was 12 @ the time! I carry on the tradition of singing this song. Thank you for the memories! Namaste’
