I'm Frieda.
I first encountered the sounds of the gongs in the middle of a crisis,
Even though I was successful on the surface.
My self-esteem was low and self-love wasn't exactly a concept I would live by.
To get my life back on a positive track,
I had to take matters into my own hands and open up to a new way of encountering myself.
Because love is an active force.
To create a life based on love,
It is important to feel fully,
Taking time to remember in our heart who we really are.
If we begin with ourselves,
We can trust that life's events will follow.
Find a quiet,
Cozy space where you can lie down later on and pour yourself a glass of water.
Let's get started.
Come into a comfortable,
Seated position.
Stretch your spine to its full length,
Relax your shoulders and gently tuck in your chin.
Place your left hand face down on your left knee and your right hand with your palm facing up on your right knee.
Close your eyes and come into your center.
Shift your focus into your left hand as it rests on your left knee.
It represents everything you already experienced and learned in your life.
Feel into it.
Feel everything that is already at your disposal.
Now shift your focus back into your center and remain there for a few breaths.
Now shift your focus into your right hand as it rests on your right knee which is like an open bowl ready to receive.
It symbolizes everything that has been waiting for you,
Everything that will be at your disposal in life.
Feel into the vastness of possibilities.
A few of them are already there for you.
Now come back to your center.
Take a few deep,
Long and very conscious breaths.
As you inhale,
Imagine that you are smelling something wonderful,
Perhaps the scent of a rose or the crisp air on a winter morning.
Breathe very slowly and exhale with delight.
Now take another two deep breaths during which you actively savor life's bounties.
Really allow your imagination to flow.
Now place your left hand on your heart and your right hand on your belly.
For a moment,
Feel how your breath is moving your body.
Take your time to simply feel.
Hug yourself and be grateful for your unique and brilliant being.
Sense your heart beat and feel your lips conjuring up a smile.
Relax your arms and get comfortable.
You can lie down for the sound bath and to go on a journey towards yourself.
Should you be noticing a lot of vibration,
Breathe deeply and allow the sensation to flow.
Feel your body and breathe in and exhale.
You can gently activate your body by making any movements that feel good to you.
Take your time.
When you feel ready,
Slowly come back up to seating and open your eyes.
