I'm Colette and welcome to the sleep series.

Our mini meditation with one hour relaxation sounds for sleep and for rest.

Today you'll be hearing the sound of a soft campfire crackling,

A field recording I'd taken from a campfire somewhere in Parry Sound,

Ontario.

Just allowing your eyes to close softly.

Softening through your jaw.

See if you can soften through all the muscles around your eyes,

Your shoulders.

Allow the back of your head to just rest gently.

Allow your body to get really heavy.

Softening your elbows.

Your hands.

Soften your belly.

Letting go of any tension in your hips and your tailbone.

Soften your knees.

Your ankles.

Your heels.

And your toes.

And taking a big breath in.

And a deep breath out.

And last two breaths.

Big breath in through your nose.

Exhale through your mouth.

And final breath here.

Big breath in.

Exhale.

Release any tension held in your body.

Just give yourself permission to rest.
