The blossoming of the heart meditation find a comfortable seat close your eyes and allow yourself to arrive right here right now inhale through the nose receive the breath exhale through the mouth settle even deeper into the now head neck and trunk in one long line feel the points of contact of the body with the seat feel them do not think them inhale receive the breath allow the breath to breathe you exhale soften everything in an equal and opposite motion lift the crown of the head towards the heaven inhale receive the breath exhale soften everything smooth out the lines of the forehead and especially relax between the eyebrows relax the cheekbones the jaw soften the gums of the tea the tongue everything is so so so so soft energetically press the front body into the back body inhale receive the breath allow the breath to breathe you exhale soften everything and where the head meets the neck and the neck meets the shoulder deliberately this sends the energy like two rivers running down along the spine all the way through the sacrum the sacred bone at the base of the spine inhale receive the breath and descend this energy into all of your being allow yourself to be so soft feel your skin being so soft it is almost transparent only the thinnest membrane between what is inside and what is out there and rest here don't even breathe let the breath breathe you simply receive inhale receive the breath and exhale soften the tongue everything it's so so so so soft the neck is soft the shoulder the upper arm the elbow the forearm the wrist each and every one of your fingers so so inhale receive the breath exhale soften allow yourself to just rest here body settled and relax the breath breathing you inhale receive the breath do not take it this simple yet fundamental shift will move you from being to doer to pure beingness inhale receive the breath allow the breath to breathe you exhale you soften the chest the oesophagus the digestive system inhale receive the breath and as you exhale through the mouth soften the tongue and allow your sexual organs to soften everything is so soft soften your thighs your knees your chin your ankles the tops of your feet the bottom of your feet each and every one of your toes so so so so soft inhale receive the breath and exhale allow yourself to just rest here body settled and relax mind settled and relax breath breathing you and your attention is to awareness itself you observing the experience you being the witness nothing to do simply be observing thoughts observing images not following them forward not retrieving them from the past simply resting inhale receive the breath and exhale soften everything everything is so so so so soft the primary tension in life is the desire to be somebody so drop that and simply be be yourself inhale receive this truth exhale soften the tongue you belong you have arrived rest here inhaling receiving and exhaling softening everything is so so so so soft and deliberately now bring your attention to your heart center feel that you withdraw the content of the mind which is an outgoing light withdraw it into the seemingly infinite vast black expanse of your heart center moving deeper inside witnessing this infinite black expanse in your heart center in the hill receive it and as you exhale you see visualize or sense a spark of light illuminating in your heart inhale receive the breath and as you receive the breath this spark of golden light in your heart center expands you nourishing your inner light through your breath inhaling this light becomes larger and larger and larger exhaling you allow the radiance of this light to bathe your whole body inhale you feed the spark of light in what was once an infinite black expanse at the heart center now begins to appear a pool of golden light liquid love spreading in your whole chest in your whole heart center tuning in into the pulsating vibration of the heart center echoing the pulsating vibration of your inhales and exhale inhale and exhale feel sense the warm embrace of this liquid love moving in your heart center taste it and all at once like an image in the mirror appears within this golden pool of light a flower the flower in your heart feel her see her witness her what is this flower that is blooming in your heart allow yourself to tune in what type of flower is she what is her color what is her texture what is her feeling do not think it feel it enter the feeling tone of the blossoming flower at the center of your chest inhale receive the breath and receive this flower the expansion of this blooming inside of you and exhale soften the tongue with each breath inviting an intimate relationship with the flower blossoming in your heart establishing a relating establishing a recognition of this blossoming flower at the center of your chest appearing in the midst of the pool of golden light and your rest here receiving the medicine of this flower as she continues to bloom with your nourishing breath inhale receive the breath and exhale relax soften everything and simply rest here in the awareness of the blossoming flower at the center of your chest your flower your inner garden cultivating it with intent with discipline a discipline that requires courage and softness a discipline to remember who you are and you allow this flower to bloom inside of your chest radiating this inner knowing of this secret garden that you cultivate with each breath that you cultivate remembering that this exists at the center of you and with your eyes closed I invite you now to draw your gaze inward dropping the eyeballs and the eye socket and allowing the eyeballs to melt all the way down into your chest and with your inner gaze you witness you observe this flower in your chest resting here receiving her medicine expanding in your whole being just like that cultivate the warm feeling of the blossoming of this inner knowing at the center of you remember who you are trust that this flower is always here for you that this flower blossom with your soft attention with your soft intention to move deeper at the center of who you truly are cherish it cultivate it inhale receive the breath exhale soften everything and simply rest here in the remembrance
