Luna saa.
Luna saa,
One of the eight feasts in the Kelter calendar.
This one is the midway point from the summer solstice to the autumn equinox.
It's where we bring the fruits of the first harvest.
This is where we can bring a bounty to our table.
After a long time of toil and not seeing anything,
Now we get to start to taste some of the fruits of our labors.
So sit back in a comfortable chair and feel this special time of year,
This energy arising,
This time when the corn grows so tall,
When all the replenishment crops are coming in for harvesting,
A time of celebration,
A time of late days,
A time of fun and flotation.
Ah,
But there's still work to be done.
So just take a seat and relax and feel the beautiful oxygen coming in,
Revitalizing you,
Filling your body with this beautiful air,
This bounty within you and letting go of any tensions,
Any feelings,
Any fears of not doing enough,
Things not going quick enough.
Things have their natural timing.
You can't force a seed to be a tree in one moment.
Replenish yourself right here,
Right now.
Feel the oxygen coming into every cell in your body,
Making you alive with this bounty of energy.
As you let go of worry,
Let go of yesterdays and be in this moment,
This moment of plenty.
And if there's any thoughts you have that you feel stuck in,
Just blow them out like a little smoke in front of you and softly blow on it and see it disperse in the air,
Breathing in this beautiful air and oxygen,
Letting yourself go a little deeper.
Allow your body to feel a connection to the earth.
Feel a wave of peace from the top of your head,
Across your eyes,
Your ears,
Your nose,
Your mouth,
Even your tongue softens,
The jaw relaxes as the energy waves down across your arms,
Down your back,
Through your hips,
Down your legs,
Past the knees,
The calves,
Finally feeling the feet so present in the earth,
With all your toes,
Even the baby toes,
Softly grounded.
And let go of any worries,
Cares.
Let them go down into the earth,
Where the earth can take and recycle these and use this as fertilizer.
And bring that energy up through your feet,
Into your body,
Washing through your body with this beautiful energy of growth,
This energy of fire within you.
And feel yourself so alive in this moment,
Yet fully relaxed,
Present.
Feel grateful for everything you've done.
Feel grateful for everything you're doing.
And know you've planted the seeds and the first fruits are just starting.
Be patient with yourself.
Ground into the earth.
Feel yourself rooted,
With your arms raised towards the sun,
Filling with light and energy.
Feel the gratitude and the flow of that sun within you.
When you're ready,
Just come back,
Feeling your fingers,
Your toes,
And feel a little lighter,
A little more sunny in disposition,
A little more hopeful,
And feeling that you're blessed with a new day,
The first fruits of your labor.
Namaste.
