Hello and welcome to this mini practice.
My name is Georgiana Petek and I am your face yoga teacher.
This is a recording of a warm up exercise you could do before each practice.
There will be several recordings with warm up exercises so that you can pick and choose.
I trust that your face and fingers are clean and you are seated in front of a mirror,
Back supported,
Feet on the ground.
Have some light moisturizer,
Serum or face oil near.
This particular warm up exercise is meant to release tension in your face,
Wake up and warm up the facial muscles.
I call it raspberry.
Ready?
Place your fingers at the bottom of each cheekbone.
Right fingers under right,
Left fingers under the left cheekbone.
Don't press too hard.
This is just so that you can feel the vibrations of the raspberry flutters get all the way to the cheekbones.
Inhale,
Take a deep breath in.
Exhale,
Strong raspberry flutter through long relaxed lips,
Trying to feel it reverberate all the way into the cheekbones.
Repeat the exercise 5 times.
