Hello and welcome to this mini face yoga practice.
My name is Georgiana Patek and I am your face yoga teacher.
This small sequence of exercises is all about the eyes,
The orbicularis oculi muscles.
We don't use them,
Not to their full extent.
We get accustomed to using the neck instead.
Let's secure the forehead first.
So,
Pinkies over eyebrows,
Fingers laced over the forehead.
Resting hands on the forehead.
We make sure that the forehead and the eyebrows are not moving this way,
Creating unwanted lines.
Make an awl with the mouth and open the eyes really,
Really wide.
Hold for one breath and then relax.
Do it five times.
Then,
Relaxing the mouth,
Simply open the eyes as wide as possible,
As if they are about to roll out of your sockets.
And again,
Holding for one breath each time,
Repeat five times.
Last one here.
Squint your eyes as small as possible,
Leaving a sliver of an opening for one breath.
And do it five times.
These exercises are working the muscles around the eyes,
Pulling them up and in,
Helping with elimination of puffiness and the appearance of bigger eyes.
You know what,
Let's do them together.
So,
Secure the forehead,
Awl with the mouth,
Eyes wide,
Hold for one breath and repeat five times.
This time,
We're letting the mouth relax,
Eyes super,
Super wide.
Hold for one breath,
Relax,
And do this four more times.
Open eyes really,
Really wide,
Inhale,
Exhale,
And relax.
Three more times.
Then,
The squinting.
So,
Squinting eyes,
Just leaving a tiny sliver of an opening,
One breath in and out,
And we're doing this five times.
Wonderful.
Thank you so much for listening and for taking part in the face eula journey with me.
I wish you well.
